NEC show on Channel 5 this week

Thought it was okay as a general overview. Hosts were all fine too. Lots of YouTube stuff if you want to go all nerdy! Plus always nice to see Julia!

Very poor, like many so called celebrities behaving like prats, when filmed away on a MH jaunt.

Part 2 was much better than Part 1, though that was not difficult. Some show input but as usual a high level skim. If you knew nothing about outdoor life it would give you a smattering of parts of interest, but nothing would make it suitable even for those with already limited experience. The main presenter continued to annoy. It was not aimed at most on here.

Thought it was a series more than two episodes.

Please 5 don’t bring it back, that girl presenter is so annoying and hound is even worse.

Just for fun I switched on 'Million Pound Motorhomes, to watch a guy collecting his 15th motorhome, a £300,000 Concorde.
I liked the removable steering wheel though...

If you take into account the program is made for the general TV audience & not for motofhome/caravan enthusiats it not as bad as people make out.

Couldnt believe the stupid error the woman form the C&CC made when showing the other woman how hitch up a caravan. Stupid woman looped the breakaway cable around the towball.

We’ve got a removable steering wheel ( better add we have the motorhome as well, not just the steering wheel 😊) and it didn’t cost £300,000😊

Were Hymer at the show? The maps said they were but I didn't see them.
Erwin Hymer Group UK i.e. Eldiss/Compass were the only part of the group there.

Or the caravan repair Bloke showing how to find and fix leaks, one minute he’s found the water issue on a side window next shot he’s got a completely different caravan and fixing the front window😂😂

I noticed that & changing the latch on the locker door but didn't fix the hole in the table.

I enjoyed it, it's good to see the show on mainstream telly for all its faults.

I have to agree that episode 2 was better that the first even though they didn't have a MORELO on;):ROFLMAO:

I thought some of the caravans looked OK(y)

We have a removable steering wheel as well and it didn't cost £300,000 either, it's a €1000 option now but just checked and it was €1450 when we ordered:unsure: who says stuff never comes down.

From posts I've read on here that seems to be a true reflection of what to expect when some dealers undertake repair work. ;)

I saw that too. Silly non gender specific person!

Depending on the towball type she was following their own guidance,

In that pic they show a removable tow ball a complete no, no with that type, they should know better.

Lenny maybe your right maybe your wrong

CMAC actually say:

Detachable ball – we recommend you seek advice from the towbar manufacturer

Thought the paddle boarders was a con.Supposed to be downsizing to go paddleboarding in more remote areas and they gave them a T6 that they could not transport their boards with .or did I miss something..BUSBY.

They were inflatable ones about the side of a large rucksack when packed but there would be much room for much else.
Also left it parked on the the hard (slipway) while they went off Paddleboarding.

I think the couple in the T6 did say it wasn't enough storage for them as they want to take bikes as well so they want a garage.

We're recording it so can fast forward all the boring or annoying bits!
Whizzed through it - very little content related to the Show. Wish to advise on caravanning tips they had used someone responsible - Bake Off's Karen Wright with her tins & bottles in high cupboards & hanging Ingenio pans on the back of the flimsy wardrobe door were just accidents & damage waiting to happen! :shake:

Harmless enough entertainment, and perhaps showed a few bits that we had to miss in our curtailed visit due to car problems, but I do wish they would have been accurate. The static caravan section implied that they were sited in Sandbanks. Whilst they showed a couple of aerial shots of it, the featured site looks like Mudeford - just down the road from us and three towns - Christchurch, Bournemouth and Poole - away from Sandbanks...
