Nationwide Flexi Breakdown Cover

I have just made it through the Pyrenees and just when I started to think about our final destination (Southern Spain) the wipers stopped working, which is too good when you have to drive through continuous heavy rain. Anyway I contacted the AA breakdown service as instructed by the Nationwide help line.
The chap from the AA said that my vehicle is not covered as it is greater than 3,500kg, which it is. 4,005 to be precise. The Nationwide breakdown policy clearly states that motorhomes up to 7,500kg are covered.
Am I making a mistake?

We don’t really use our joint account at all
Just making sure it’s topped up for the fee to get the insurance
We have a saving account too which ( I think) is what entitles you to the payout - £200 each this year

Agree with last 2 posters .No need to do anything other than make sure there is £18 in the account each month - or just chuck £200 in for the year.

The £175 is a switch offer. They give you £175 if you....

Switch another bank account to them
Have 2 direct debits set up
Pay in £1000

After they give you the £175 you can always move the direct debits out, take your £1000 out. I have done this by moving a old unused current account to them.
