nasty accident in Skye

At least it will be easy to clean the underneath.
Hope whoever is involved is ok though.

Faint offside tyre mark on the road veering off to the right side, leading to gouges in the grass.

Both front wheels showing signs of normal braking (can’t quite see due to the quality of the image) until off road where they were locked up probably due to the softer surface hence the soil marks showing only on one segment of each front tyre.

My educated guess is that for some reason it veered towards the right went off-road and the FNS wheel dug in and momentum took it over.

Yep, either going too fast or not paying attention :-(

Looks like he hit the bank hard with the right hand side front, you can see circled the front crossmember how its bent backwards, and if you look at the angle change between the two lines you can see how much the engine, gearbox lower arm have come backwards....

The back body is twisted as well so def write off. I wonder if it will reappear for sale when fixed.

Can’t imagine what noise/sound must be like with all the cupboards emptying.
Probably not far off what the yacht was last week when we heeled over with the crockery not very well secured!. I would have thought that the side scraping down the tarmac was a fair bit louder
