Must See Towns/Villages Mosel Germany

That's the one we stayed at and recommended above. I see they have extended the site and added more parking since we were there. Do they still give you a complimentary small bottle of wine?
It was 3 years ago I can't remember.

Do you know if the bus goes past the site at Ernst?
I think it could be the same but that comes along from Erdinger-Eller suggested above.

Unfortunately we can't cycle in , my other half broke her shoulder in a cycling accident 2 months ago and isn't recovered enough yet.

A super stop here.
Thank you.
Now in Bernkastel at the Knaus camping park.
E44 with ACSI otherwise I think it's E43/day. Our bill is E56 for 2 days. There are a couple of additional charges I shall decifer later.
The extras are a per person tax and an environmental tax.

Checking in I missed that there is also a Stellplatz attached, literally, to the main site.
Turn right immediately before the barrier. I think it's E19.5/night.

Jake Royd definitely stop at Cochem on your way to Koblenz, the castle there is certainly worth a visit and they do a tour in English, from memory it was at 1pm. We stayed at a winery in Ernst just before Cochem and cycled in, it was easier than parking in Cochem and all along a cycle path so nice and safe.

Link here hopefully 😺
At Ernst now for two days, very pleasant but pretty full.
I've discovered Federweiser, partially fermented juice. Has to be drunk in two days and kept cool. Very drinkable 🍷🍷
Thank you for your suggestion.
Cochem tomorrow.

Cochem tomorrow.
Glad you got in at Ernst, it's very handy for Cochem.

If you go to Koblenz, stay on the stellplatz outside the campsite, it is still expensive but it's a lot cheaper than the campsite and an easy walk to the ferry across the river to get into Koblenz itself. There is a cable car that goes to the fort on top of the hill, that is worth a look round.

Enjoy your trip 😺

We have used this site for Koblenz I think three times
Easy cycle into town via the railway bridge
Decent restaurant on site and very clean facility's
Quiet site by Mosel standards a bit away from main roads and railway line
Bonkers token system for getting the showers to work or that was maybe just me.
