Decided to update our car dash cam to this Which? These are as new, official Nextbase refurbs with the same 1 year warranty as new stock but much cheaper.

Thanks Wombles - yet again you’ve got me parting with money!!🥴. I was looking at dash cams yesterday but dithered and now I’ve committed. I’m going to get it hardwired in so bought that also!!

Very good point - there is an optional suction mount accessory https://nextbase.co.uk/accessories-...suction-cup-attachment-no-powered-connection/ but looks like stock is an issue & only available at inflated prices! Had thought it was included in the box with the dash cam but looking at unboxing videos it would appear not :(
Video of how the suction mount works albeit on the 422GW

When we get our 322GW (bought for our car) we will try the stick on magnetic mount in our motorhome to see how it works with Remis unless someone can advise sooner.

Reviewing the video the bracket can be pushed off the sticky pad section so may be possible in situ & then no obstruction for Remis blinds but not sure that will be good for the sticky pad every day - have found stock & what looks like the best value way currently to buy the suction mount (with extra original mount too) here https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07QFQLRFG/?tag=mhf04-21 £16.95 It isn't listed for the 322GW but in the Reviews buyers have given feedback that it is suitable for that & a wider range of models - we've bought one & again will post on here once all received. Does sound like the suction mount works better than the self adhesive pad in hot weather & free returns with Amazon on this product.

Wouldn't like anyone to buy this dash cam then for it possibly not to work well with Remis Blinds in your motorhomes! Thanks to Stonemags76 for raising this potential issue (y)

Received our refurbed dashcam & rear camera (post #4) & all arrived in pristine as new condition (y) The suction mount (post #12) works really well so definitely worth the extra cost over included the stick on mount & the plug in rear camera works surprisingly well too. The only negative is that for the position that works best in our car we do need the extra polarizing filter - best price £18 delivered direct from Nextbase https://nextbase.co.uk/accessories/reflection-free-lens/ using discount code NBEXTRA10 - if problems doing quick checkout (it errored for us) using Paypal then do the longer checkout then choose Paypal at the end of that.

With just one 12v socket on our dashboard & running satnav as well as the dashcams found stock of this version RMS10 of the Ring Multi Socket https://www.ringautomotive.com/en/product/RMS10 at £18.69 delivered https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/16656731...pid=5339023013&customid=&toolid=10001&mkevt=1 which handily has two USB sockets too - there a different Ring design which is a bit cheaper but not the same functionality.

The suction mount in this set does work very well with the 322GW & considering how important the positioning is for the dashcam wouldn't want to restrict usage to where the sticky pad mount may not obstruct the Remis blind also lots of reports about the sticky pad letting go in very hot weather whereas the suction pad is a very secure fixing so think it's worth the extra cost.

It fits behind the remis blinds just about if you take the camera off before closing

Cheap but useful lightweight Ibili multi pan stainless steel lids https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00D90Q38G?tag=mhf04-21 - ordered the 22-26cm £6.63 to replace several heavy pan lids for use in the motorhome.
