Motorhome Blown off a Cliff on the NC500 With Occupants Inside

We were on the NC500 in November last year during a really bad storm. We are very experienced motorhomers and sought refuge in a sheltered spot. We were woken in the night to find our habitation door wide open. It had been locked so still don’t know what had happened. The winds had blown it open somehow and damaged the door and it was impossible to close completely. A rubber hammer and ratchet straps helped until we got home. It was a scary experience and just shows how very careful you need to be.
If it's a coach built the wind may have deformed the body enough for the door latch to have lost its purchase.

The footage, prior to the accident has just been released !

Absolutely the most brilliant thing I've seen all day. The next 16 hours are going to have a hard job keeping up. Off to the tube.....all down hill from here..

Thanks jockaneezer , love it!!

I wonder why their business would fold just because a motorhome had been written off ? It will presumably be insured and there are thousands of MHs for sale in the UK to replace it.

But how much when they go for a new insurance?
