VFR, Ducati, my Blackbird :) LOL !!!
The VFR is the only bike they make with a V configuration. Just lazy tourers.

The Ducati is not a Honda

I can't think of anything off the list, on Blackbirds.

So we’re back to my original answer of COST.

I opened this thread and all the posters that have contributed up to now, have shared their memories, pictures and desires from their biking past, present and future. NOT to create a great debate thread.

My intention was to create a light hearted momentary distraction from the over active doom and gloom thread or the political arguments that plague this site.

In my opinion the VFR was ahead of it‘s time, possibly a technical master class in it‘s day.....as is the RC213V-S to a greater extent today.

You said ’but if they were good ideas, they'd still be using them now. Summat to think about.’

Honda ARE still using those innovative designs along with other manufactures on the road (Ducati, CCM, Yamaha and Aprilla spring to mind, but there maybe more if you google) and on the track as I previously demonstrated, but as I said originally, COST is the reason they are not mainstream not because they’re technically inferior, just more expensive to mass produce.

Please feel free to share your pictures and memories but PLEASE don’t turn this thread into another debate or trolling thread, please let’s just share the memories and experiences of happier times and look forward to a happy biking future, after all we all share the love of motorcycles no mater what shape or size they come in. Please bare in mind during these difficult times everyone could do with the distraction.....

Please don’t spoil what all the contributors to this thread have created.

I never owned one myself but loved riding CBX's of friends. They go for a lot of money on the classic scene

what was the base bike ?
I’d guess it was from the CB250 family too.....but maybe the G5 due to the disk, but then again the forks don’t look like they’ve always lived there either, unless the the calliper has moved for a bigger disk.
