Morocco 2020

i ts certainly remote enough for Ryanair. I wonder if they sell it as Agadir or Marrakech?
Jon, I went on the Ryan Air site to see the cost with the idea of doing as quick holiday as we can't take MH this year. My first impression was it's like platting fog, the price to do it was £9.99!! Great hey! So I followed it through, end price?? £400 ?

narrow escape imo Derek, my experiences of Ryanair are best described as being those that I have no wish to repeat .

Hope you're having a nice time in Spain
Jon

We’ve sorted SIM cards out fine in Tanger from a Maroc telecom shop.

we are getting used to tourist rates...;):eek:

£4.60 for a delicious lunch of chicken etc, £6 per night camping inc electric but £1.80 to park the scooter and £19 for my washing...we need to get tougher at these endless negotiations

Are the dogs barking loudly all night at Imsouanne?
We couldn't stand them last year but liked it there

The dogs weren't particularly noisy and most of those we saw had been tagged so I guess a lot of the others had just "simply disappeared". It seemed a particularly stressful drive down the hairy hill for us,which perhaps coloured our view of Imsouane. Looking back (oh so many of these things are great looking back)we walked over to the harbour and saw some fantastic surfing and in the end forgave the poor facilities and access.

We left today via the hairy hill and thinking about meeting trucks of other motorhomes etc.But from leftfield came a bunch of these babies............................we just pulled over and made some tea........but you never can tell what might happen next.
Now at Camping Aourir just outside Agadir.......resting up before the terrible Camping International in Agadir. But we like the city (for a night) and can stock upon "essential items" at the Carrefour or Uniprix.

After 2 nights at Moulay Bousselham weve moved downwards to Skhirat Plage, reminds us of downtown Beirut:giggle:

If you sit outside your van long enough local guys bring you all manner of stuff to eat..takes longer to negotiate a price than eat it! Been offered fish, prawns, bread, oranges, veg and fruit. Love it!

Jim is producing a Magazine which will be launched at the N.E.C. show. As for when it will be available here that is down to Jim but he has told me it will be available after the Magazine has been released. TerryL article is already available in the resources section. My article contains to much data to load onto this site from my end.

Full title is "Taking a Motorhome to Morocco "
Shouldn't need to search, although no idea why it didn't find it, as it's one of the most popular downloads - yes you have to download it.
Sorry can't provide a link, on my phone, maybe someone else would please?

Love your avatar! I'm not 100% sure of what your after ? If you want my guide ? you need to send me your email address in a p.m. so it remains private. TerryL has produced a very good document on the entry procedures into morocco which you can find here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/forum/resources/taking-a-motorhome-to-morocco.88/
There is also a shed load of information in Morocco 2016 thread which probably has more photographs than any other Morocco thread on Fun. Members will keep you up to date on any questions you have.
Safe Travels.

Yes, loads of members on here are happy to offer there knowledge and wisdom for free. Also, loads of members on hear offering wrong or dodgy information for free too, but all with good intent I.M.O. You may well regret offering your services for free. Some members on here will bite your arm off at that offer as you will no doubt soon find out.

In a moment of weakness, I let a guy called Mustapha sell me a Maroc Telecom Card at Assilah, he’s a robbing barstard, dont deal with him if he contacts you, a weasely little fellow in a striped jell Aber or anorak. Do tell him the long haired scouser is angry and WILL see him again and WILL cut his bollox off, that’s Karma! ;)
How do you know Mastapha has only one bollox???

The last one but they are not necessarily the stops to make my lovelies!
Could you elaborate on that a bit Borr,,, we're researching for our first trip and any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Regards James and Angie.

Oualidia

All well here thanks TerryL. I can recommend the Ouzoud Waterfall, the natural bridge at Imi n'Ifri and lake at Ait Aadel. I'm not a great fan of cities but Marrakesh is worth a visit. The N9 Marrakesh to Ouarzazate on a long section up to the col (2260mts) near Tizi-n-Tichka is being rebuilt so is slow going. The P1506 (Telouèt to Aït-Benhaddou) is a good road, except the first 3-400mts which is dirt) and very scenic. Now at Ouarzazate after visiting the Atlas film studios.
