Aah thats cos I'm a double act and taking 2 vans , but you are absolutely correct I should've named no10 as Rupert rather than irnbru.

I could be wrong but almost all monies have been paid so your really clinging to straws, that said the ban on seafront parking hasn't come into force yet and is literally just a few mins walk away, thats where I would be

Huh! Just had a look not only is it twice as warm there the sun looks to be out too we are in Southport and it’s a sultry 4* here with drizzle!! The van heating kicked in overnight just hoping the sun will come out later.

Us too Ian, we really do have nice scenery on our doorstep. Not my number one but Millport is in my top 5.

So what did I learn on our visit today?

IMO, could be wrong but time will tell, the aire spaces are rather tight and will test your driving ability getting onto the plots.

When the booking system kicks into place shortly the fee will be £20pn with free electric. I personally can’t see that taking off.

If anyone else is planning on coming over and parking on the road while we are there you can empty and fill for £5.
