Please tell me you are using a pillar drill for all those holes.

I was just going to say he should have brought a cheap pillar drill. :giggle:

When we had to fit 1000 3m x 2m stainless steel panels to a factorys inside walls we used to square them up on the pallet ,clamp them all ,mark the top one & drill through the whole lot with an electric drill. If same size can't you do that?

How many drill bits have you used lol, a lot of patience required! I liked the curved ply ceiling btw in one of the you tube couple you recommended.

Yes quite a few busses with autoboxes
I love auto boxes, would not go without, do you know what they are? Old fashioned ZF stuff? How many stepped gears? As it is commercial and heavy it might be serious stuff, currently got 12 speed auto in truck and 8 speed auto in my BMW, which I have to say is the best autobox I have used, in HGV’s the king of auto boxes is the Volvo I -shift , it has no rival !

Im using the same 2 bits i started with ...1 3mm and one 7.5mm
You’re a better man then me lol, I would have used fresh drill bits on a continuous conveyer belt😆😆😆, there is me thinking only Yorkshire man have short arms and very deep pockets 😇😆

If you haven't had a Scammel with a Gate Change you haven't driven or an Eaton twin split.BUSBY.

Hmmm I might be a youngster compared to many😆😇, but I have driven some nice old stuff in the Dutch army, DAF 314, 328 616, double clutch, gear-lever behind the seat, no power steering , petrol engine, trucks for real man lol, done some playing with a leopard 2 also, no wheels, all the fun, ear protection required, bone shaking loud, but nowadays give me an autobox any day , traffic is just mad these days. My knees are great full to the inventor of auto boxes.

I like autos in big engined comfy cars ...but in a van i like to be able to drop gears for hillclimbing etc ...and autoboxes can be expensive to repair

Auto boxes are for those who cannot drive. Which is why if one passes one’s test in an automatic one can only drive automatic but if one passes in a manual one can drive either.
Not a fan are you? Enjoy your manual, we can’t all like sophisticated technology, some don’t like smartphones either, they still have a Nokia 😇😆😆🤣

No need to change them when still working fine. But they are good quality bits and a wee spray of wd40 every so often helps 😁

You do realise that formula 1 is done with auto boxes yes?
Perhaps you can explain why one needs to pass another test to drive a manual if one only has a automatic licence but not the other way round?
To me it suggests a greater degree of skill, ability is required to drive the manual. It would also appear the DVSA agree.

Not for LGV's these days, full licence granted if test taken in automatic truck but with manual car licence.
