You have to wonder about some peoples interpretation of the words "slightly" and "beautiful "

You sold Toby for a few bob more than you paid for him, from memory, and from your previous financial comments, I think you have a few quid in the bank.

So, why buy an old sh1tter, you will be buying at a cheaper time and selling in a more expensive time, you could potentially pay for most of your winter trip with your wheeling and dealing capabilities.

Don't plan to buy an old shitter but i don't want to spend more than £10k on a van at the minute. Preferably one that i can use till im finished the vario which realistically will be next summer

Ive my eye on a few older early 90's hymers as they seem to hold their value but not sure if id perhaps be better with a sprinter or something instead. ... but in no hurry as i wouldn't be leaving the uk till end of october mid November anyway so im just biding my time and see what comes up ...

I will only buy something i feel confident i wont lose money on ... ive already got one money pit lol

Got this wee panel welded in today and sealed around the edges .... didn't have time to fill the welds so just stuck some primer over the edge for now. I have however got the side door panel and the window next to this one ready with the holes drilled etc ...i plan to prepare the other 2 panels tomorrow and then when i have all 4 ready for welding in ill get the neighbor back again to hold them up for me till i get them tacked in and then i can get this one side completed in one go.

Im looking for an under 10k van but that wont be it unless it comes down to at least 6k lol
