Good evening all........

Kate has asked me to do a weather update as and when...

Well after yesterdays down pour (All Day and the night before.. :(..) and the field drying out nice and firm from all the rain a couple of weeks ago..

Had a walk round first thing this morning and it was back to puddles here and there...

But had a walk round this afternoon and today`s :sun::sun:

Has gotten rid of that and the ground is quite firm again.

So an occasional shower and a good bit of dry & sun...

And it will be all systems GO......:drink::beerchug::party2:

I will only update when there is a
Deterioration of conditions...

So watch this thread.... (y)

What is plan B does OLD Mo have a tractor? Or do we reply on his sit on mower?

Yes.......... I have a tractor... (y)

If the census of opinion is that members would like the meet to go ahead (As long as it`s not like a quagmire)...

Then yes I can tow you on and off... No problems.. (y)

It`s up to all of you....

Your shout... :)

So looking forward to this meet - really hope the weather is kind. We're 4.5 tons so very likely to sink in a muddy field. Fingers, eyes, legs, arms all crossed.

Sounds good to me(y).. but don't want to wreck your field Mo:rolleyes:

Wont wreck the field Brian...

All you will do is sink 6 inches cos that`s all the top soil I have....

Under that is solid bloody clay, that`s why it holds the water.. :swear:

The annoying thing is alongside the hedge on the other side of the main field it`s as firm as anything even when every where else was under water, which can hold 30 - 40 Mo-homes ....

But it`s a 100 mtrs from the hard standings and entry to get to it is over ground that does hold the water..

I dug a hole a few weeks ago..... and water just poured in.... so I am on track to getting it sorted.. (y)

So gently on the throttle it is doable...

But wont take people doing Do-Nuts and wheel spins.... :giggler:

And I’ve been dreaming of doing doughnuts and wheel spins at your bash Mo .....

I have been pulled off fields right across Europe.. So I am up for it no matter what !

To be fair looking at the weather forecast it looks likely that we will need to be towed on but able to drive off.:D :D:D

Oh and we were at Chester the other bank holiday - we are hardened to sinking and swimming through mud:D :D

I noticed you had air rifle shooting on your first page, my hubby is into it and is happy to bring a couple of rifles/ pistols and talk through with anyone who is interested in having a go?

We’re towing virgins, so a bit nervous! I’ll make sure the towing eye is in!

Oh yes please that would be great Bill has a competition rifle feinwerkbau 601 and Maurice has a 22air rifle as well we have a a large bulls eye target Maurice has smaller targets. Bill brought some pellets with feathers on so we could find them after shooting just in case folk don't hit the target lol
If anyone else wants to bring any with them that would be great, I'm sure we can organise a few competitions between us. .
I'm sure the blokes will be emptying a few cans of beer which we can use for target practice (y)
Regards Kate
