Have to put the beer cellar in the garageIt's the front axle that struggles
I thought it was going to be quite low as they seem a bit shy about putting any numbers in the spec.I think the tag has 1 ton plus but single axle only about 700kg before extras?
Not on my Chic C Line, I’ve plenty on the front and 100 over on the rear (if I have my full 170L of water on board) I’ve shifted everything I can forward, even the crates of beer on the way homeIt's the front axle that struggles
Isn't it a fact that the more payload you have the moreNo good for us as Mrs CCs clothes would take up all that payload.
I don’t think she left anything at home on our last trip away
What??? She took her purse with her, don’t they always leave them at home or is it just Mrs Westy??I don’t think she left anything at home on our last trip away
Mrs B has a permanent walk in wardrobe at the back of our motorhome. No good for us as Mrs CCs clothes would take up all that payload.

Would that be the one on your website I looked at yesterday or another one ?I have a rather nice Knaus Sun I 900 LEG (Twin singles) on an auto registered March 22 and an auto, that's £145,000 but hasn't gone on the web yet.
Big old tag axle bus!
I also on the total opposite end have a Devon Firefly coming on a 22 plate with a toilet!
Exactly , same as the fridge/freezer loaded to the gunnels and still half full on returnIsn't it a fact that the more payload you have the morerubbishessential belongings the Mrs takes

Mrs CC takes her purse in her handbag with her everywhere for the “just in case“ scenario, never got to that and the euros I give her at the start are normally the same as she has when we returnWhat??? She took her purse with her, don’t they always leave them at home or is it just Mrs Westy??
Yes we looked in one at the caravan salon, Mrs Westy loved it as did I, but just a bit out of my reach, well quite a lot out really, but yes very nice vansLooked at the Knaus Sun when I was in the what van to get stage, they are very nice vans.
I’m sure they will take your old worn out Carthargo and a kidney in PX…….Mrs Westy loved it as did I, but just a bit out of my reach, well quite a lot out really, but yes very nice vans
The Carthago is in better Nick than my kidneysI’m sure they will take your old worn out Carthargo and a kidney in PX…….
Obviously didn’t have enough beer loaded up then. Need enough for a weekNot on my Chic C Line, I’ve plenty on the front and 100 over on the rear (if I have my full 170L of water on board) I’ve shifted everything I can forward, even the crates of beer on the way home
Edit … for Jackd thats with the garage fully loaded with the 350 Honda in the garage, don’t panic!
This was my previous van, never missed a beat great van, whoever buys it is getting a fab vanThat would be another one!!
The Liner for 2 is not available on the Mercedes chassis. The three options are FIAT single axle, FIAT tag axle and IVECO. However the IVECO is available with a 5.8 T or 6.7T chassis. As far as I now there were 3 versions of this van, I queried why there were 3 vans sold over the summer in 2020/21 for 3 different prices at the time at our Carthago Dealers, one was 147K, another 168K, and the dearest was 199K.
I was told the 147 was on the "standard" Chassis, the 199K was on The Iveco rear wheel drive chassis, and the 168K was a Mercedes.
I believe the "standard" Fiat one did initially have some potential payload issues, hence why those with deeper pockets went for the upgraded versions.
Lovely vans, great layout, and the internal wood, trim colours are much lighter these days, they may have a lot more competition at this price point, but then again prices have gone mad lately, its nearly think of a number, then double that, same with delivery times we are told.
It bit more detail on the chassis may explain why Simons van is priced at 199K, which I don't doubt is a fair market price for those in The Premier League.

Not much for either of them, my little Hymer has 1350kg, & CompactLine I have on order 1300kg.I think the tag has 1 ton plus but single axle only about 700kg before extras?
What a great van! You spent some money on it, that's for sure. I don't think there is one with a better spec in existence! This was my previous van, never missed a beat great van, whoever buys it is getting a fab van
I get what you are saying having had nothing but IVECO, but people that have had both IVECO and Fiat tandem axle all say that the Fiat is the better drive never tried it myself so can't comment but I would not want to give up the extra traction from twin rear wheel drive and of course the payload, ours drives well anyway with full and active air and the 8 speed ZFQuite why anyone with this genre of vehicle would want anything but the heavy Iveco chassis I really don’t know?
Just looked at the online info. Tag is 1350kg and the Iveco is 2075kgNot much for either of them, my little Hymer has 1350kg, & CompactLine I have on order 1300kg.
And remappingours drives well anyway with full and active air and the 8 speed ZF
You need to change the MH info in your profile ... unless you've got another Burstner! This was my previous van, never missed a beat great van, whoever buys it is getting a fab van
Not yet but it will happen one dayAnd remapping
I am still looking for a company that I would trust ie not someone working from the back of a car with generic mapsNot yet but it will happen one day

Agile but at least it’s working nowYeah just don’t get wrong wheel drive TBH. I know it’s cheaper to make, but…
Would love the ZF, but stuck with the agricultural Comformatic in my Iveco.
