Macron to charge non EU more to visit the Lo…..

Same system was in operation for many sites in Greece and Crete when we visited. Mrs Orion qualified for the EU rate only on production of her Eire passport, I didn’t! - although I did wing it on a few occasions as her ‘accompanying third country spouse’! ;)

Glad I spent my two days there in 1971 then. It was bustling with Americans having photos taken with Venue de Milo. Goodness only knows what it is like now with the Japanese and their selfie sticks.

Pleased to say I have no interest in going there.
Found the Van Gogh gallary in Amsterdam boring, did think much of Florence.

Now the Banksy exhibition in Bristol was awesome. 🤣

Won’t affect us as we went there many years ago, and no need to return. Read this morning that the Louvre is in need of structural repairs as nothing has been done on it for years. Said it was the most visited museum in the world- surprised that they haven’t been keeping on top of the state of the building.

Look after your own country and its citizens first should be the mantra for all politicians.
As to the specific, for me, if something costs too much then, I won't do it, see it, eat it, drink it, whatever. Just because it's there doesn't make me "entitled ".

These clickbait headlines make me laugh. Did Macron even mention Britain, why do so many fall for them.

These stories are just designed to get people to shout "Bloody French Didn't charge us tourist tax in 1944". or, from a high horse, Tee hee, you're not in the club anymore, or Brexit the gift, sunlit uplands etc.

I wish more people would see these things for what they are; news outlets, sowing division while fighting for clicks.

Notice that the torygraph slants it as if it directed specifically at Brits, a Bword revenge, rather than being something all non EU citizens will pay. As a newspaper its hit rock bottom, a cross between the Star and a bog roll, with none of the benefits of either

To put it in perspective, if you go to the Eden project as a local resident you get in cheaper than we from up country. Seems fair and reasonable to me. I am sure there are other examples.

good lawd, unbelievable the prices for something a small child could copy and produce, even a chimpanzee with a roller brush, clearly some rich people have much more money than sense..
can anyone tell me why these are so sought after and highly prized?
what was so special about this artist?
canvas and a bit of paint dregs, re-created, simples !

Prefer Musee d’Orsay but don’t know what they are charging now.
