Rally Lymington Rally 2019 - Seafood Festival, New Forest, Isle Of Wight, Beaulieu, Golf & More! ** Booking Closed***

Thanks to the hardworking stewards who provided a fantastic rally. Also a big thanks to all who attended who made it such a friendly fun event. (y)

Many thanks to marshals Alan and Karen, Emmit, Derek and Mary , Taran Las Phil Scottie and Pete and Shirley. I had a fab time at this event and met a number of lovely newbies as well as wonderful old friends.
I've been advised I should change my username as I'm no longer a newbie  I will give it some thought, any suggestions would be welcome

Getting brave in Norfolk Brian. She'll come and get you.
Patricia and I were once going to get hitched over the anvil at Gretna Green but she legged it and left me at the altar. ?

What about ' Patricia that was a newbie but isn't a newbie anymore but is now more experienced ' or is that too long ::bigsmile:

When you say, "She legged it" does that mean she escaped before you could get the leg irons on?
(Or was it you in the leg irons???)

Can I add my thanks to the marshalls for a superb meet. Lindsay and I really packed a lot into our days , so ended up returning each day pretty exhausted! What a fab location with so much to do on the doorstep!

I had planned to invite everybody round for Pimms on Monday but unfortunately the walk we did to Hurst Castle nearly finished me off!

Looking forward to next year.......

I think that “Patricia the experienced” doesn’t actually sound terribly flattering:Eeek::Eeek:

Thank you from us to everyone who came along to Lymington for your kind words on here, in person & in all your messages & emails :smiley: - we had some unforgettable moments & lots of great company. Our thanks again to our excellent Marshals - Phil Taran_Las , Derek & Mary Emmit , Pete & Shirley petenshirley & John scottie who all went above & beyond & we have to thank Chris Mr Chrysalis for organising the coach trip which was most enjoyable & Pete & Shirley for stepping in to run it.

As well as meeting lots of Funsters & RVOC members new & old on arrivals day, at the first evening gathering & group meal :hi5: here is another of our favourite bits when we walked down to the beach at Alum Bay & took the boat ride to The Needles:

Just to let everyone know that the excess funds after our rallies this year totalling £313 have now been donated to Cancer Research UK - thank you to you all :hi5:

Greetings All,

As promised, I have now received a letter from Prostate Cancer UK acknowledging the £84.14 sent to them from the sale of second Hand books and 'stuff' at the Bring and Buy at this Rally. They received more money than was raised at Lymington because someone 'bunged' me £13 after I posted the original posting.

Give yourselves a clap on the back (impossible for most of us) Well Done.
