For anyone going to Walhampton golf course - 20% discount off rounds of golf if you mention that you are camped at Bamptons Farm as agreed with Brian the farmer (y) No discount for the crazy golf though as very busy at this time of year.
 
Travelling up to Netley Marsh tomorrow and will stop overnight as high winds are forecast for us in Cornwall Friday. Will then travel over to Lymington friday morning. Saturday looks grim with high winds forecast gusts of up to 60+ mph Will have to angle the van into the wind.

I get the impression there will be a few of us entering into the baptism of fire. Just so long as the fellow funsters don't take that too literally :unsure:

I'm wondering it there is going to be a Noobs corner on the field, or if we get fitted with L plates as we arrive so everyone else knows to take a wide berth :eek:

Really sorry but will not be attending this rally owing to unforseen circumstances. Happy to pay any outstanding costs. Have a great time everyone.

Hi All :hi: :hi: - the ground is good, the grass is short & weather is dry & mild atm. We have our excellent team of Marshals here & look forward to seeing you from 11am . Safe travels & maybe come the Netley Marsh route - it's narrow in Beaulieu but avoids crawling through the traffic in Lyndhurst although that is more scenic.
 
Welcome everyone & thank you to all the hardy Funsters & RVOC members who gathered at the shelter last night! ! A big thank you too to our excellent marshalling team for all their hard work :hi5:
From their Facebook page it looks like the Seafood Festival is going ahead today but probably without as many stallholders because of the high winds. Hopefully tomorrow will be better there but still lots to explore in Lymington town.
 
They have a market on a Saturday and then there is always weather spoons . Haha. When we we went the waitress was only wearing see through tights with bum floss knickers, so those with a dodgy heart have been warned. Haha

For all those Funsters hunkering down at Lymington right now, can I advise all that tomorrow morning, Sunday, there will be a massive Sale of modern Paperback Books in the party tent at 10.00am.

We also have 'T' Shirts as modelled by Yours Truly as well as Pin Badges and Wristbands for sale.

We would be pleased to relieve you of any books you have brought to be donated.
