You should try Scotland then! At the garage in Broadford ( Skye ) I paid 92p a litre. Up the road in Ullapool it’s £1.44 a litre. At my local place in Stourport it’s 90p.

Hi there, we have just got our new camper/motorhome and it has an under slung gas tank you fill up from auto gas pumps, I was told to use the app to find suppliers locally and there are none, it seems Golden Cross was the last relatively close by to us and now they haven't got any, do you know if they will be having some more deliveries, where else do you get yours from as your local to me. ThanksSame here in East Sussex - our local BP at Golden Cross near Hailsham shot up from .99 to 129.9 over night. The other local Asda LPG is showing .82 but it has been unavailable since last winter and they have no idea if they will restock it. I also understand there are going to be over 400 MFG owned fuel stations that will stop selling LPG from the end of 2024....this is to make way for EV charging points
Shell garage on the Ridge in Hastings had it a couple of weeks ago 95.8 pence a litre. Phone them first.Hi there, we have just got our new camper/motorhome and it has an under slung gas tank you fill up from auto gas pumps, I was told to use the app to find suppliers locally and there are none, it seems Golden Cross was the last relatively close by to us and now they haven't got any, do you know if they will be having some more deliveries, where else do you get yours from as your local to me. Sorry for the late response but that has been out of order for over a year - I did go in and quiz them about it and they said it is unlikely they will be selling it anymore. In fact I did also contact MYLPG.eu to explain this fuel station has not been selling LPG for a long time and they have now removed this site from their listings.The treacle mine garage off the roundabout near Polegate is another possibility nearer to you.
Sorry for the late reply - Golden Cross is the only one near us (we are based Hailsham) I drove by this morning and they still have LPG - I did refill there a couple of weeks ago. Fingers crossed they will keep it going as they have the monopoly now hence the price at £129.99!!Hi there, we have just got our new camper/motorhome and it has an under slung gas tank you fill up from auto gas pumps, I was told to use the app to find suppliers locally and there are none, it seems Golden Cross was the last relatively close by to us and now they haven't got any, do you know if they will be having some more deliveries, where else do you get yours from as your local to me. Go to the Baltics 50p a litre everywhere. Cheaper in Norway than here.Just paid 83p in Zaragoza!!
Apologies for my out of date information. I haven't bought LPG in the UK for a couple of years, usually seem to need it in Spain.Sorry for the late response but that has been out of order for over a year - I did go in and quiz them about it and they said it is unlikely they will be selling it anymore. i RUN one 13kg calor (or is it a 12) and a 11kg refilable . last calor was £47.50 (same as 6kg?) so calor £1.8-£2 l so I'm happy upto £1.50 litre, availability is important to me, hence the larger calor which is a lot more available than 7kgI am so glad I have a refillable tank on the MH. I picked up a 7kg Calor bottle last week from Shell for a little heater I have in the house and they took £47.10 off me....so about £3.86 a litre.
I moan if I cant fill the tank on the van for less that £1.00 a litre, but it is so, so cheap by comparison!
Recommended retail prices for Calor Gas are at the link below, so my 7kg Butane ‘should’ be £36.00 and your 13Kg Propane ‘should’ be £45.50 but retailers can and do set their own prices based on supply and demand in the area. As you say, the 7kg bottles I use are often unavailable and Shell take full advantage of that by setting a premium price. My local Morrisons sell at the RRP, but when asking recently, they told me they havent had a delivery for months and dont know when to expect more gas. That is why I dislike the Calor system.i RUN one 13kg calor (or is it a 12) and a 11kg refilable . last calor was £47.50 (same as 6kg?) so calor £1.8-£2 l so I'm happy upto £1.50 litre, availability is important to me, hence the larger calor which is a lot more available than 7kg
Not sure how you are working out your figures as they don’t actually work out ?Recommended retail prices for Calor Gas are at the link below, so my 7kg Butane ‘should’ be £36.00 and your 13Kg Propane ‘should’ be £45.50 but retailers can and do set their own prices based on supply and demand in the area. Your 13Kg Propane will hold 22.4 litres so you are actually paying £2.12 a litre

Bottled gas is used in many more applications than the leisure industry. Retail, commercial, farming and rural domestic properties use vast quantities of the stuff.I have an unusual opinion regarding Calor and other bottled gas suppliers to the leisure industry, as ZI can’t actually see how they make a profit on what is essentially a very seasonal and tiny market supplying the leisure industry.
Here’s what you postedHow many litres does my gas bottle hold?
My 22.4 litres comes from the link above and £47.50 divided by 22.4 = £2.12
I used the Butane fill quantity as the1andonly didn't say if the bottle was Butane or Propane (and wasn't sure if it was 13kg or 12kg). If Propane the calculation could be;
£47.50 divided by 25.48 litres to make £1.86 a litre………so the point I am making is the same whichever way you cut it.
My figures work out based on the information I had and a couple of assumptions.
Correct!Here’s what you posted

Yes I think we all understand that the LPG market isn’t limited to just the leisure market.Bottled gas is used in many more applications than the leisure industry. Retail, commercial, farming and rural domestic properties use vast quantities of the stuff.
