So sorry to hear, we love our pets, and the pain of losing them is so hard to bear.

Rest in peace Lola x.

Lola was a lovely dog, you will miss her dreadfully, it hurts, but she is pain free.

Hang on in there both .
Not sure what to say now, words are never enough.

David and Bev,
Brings a tear to my eye reading this and feel for you.
Sometimes we can only take consolation in the fact that you took her from rescue and made her life great and if she could speak in a cockney accent, I am sure she would say "I landed on me paws ere guv"

So run free Lola, over the bridge having left a paw print on David, Bev's and many others hearts.

Love
Paul Nikki and your adversary Tara Bear and our lovely Betty.

She really looks a beautiful dog and has obviously been much loved and cared for . Such a difficult time for you all but you have to be commended for giving her the best life she could hope for

Always a difficult time, but memories last forever.
RIP Lola.

David, we are so sorry for you and Bev. You will both miss her I am sure.

Lola had such a wonderful gentle personality and was loved by all the Funsters who met her. We still remember fondly her trying to join in the Scottish dancing at the Falkirk meet. We will all miss her.

Hurting for you both . .

May your spirit run free Lola. . Not just missed by your mum and dad but so many of the Funster friends who met you .. big bear hug darlin' ... no more suffering. Xxx

Strangely where I can find words for human beings , I can't for our loved pets.:(:(:(

She'll meet my little Licorice up there, and all the Funsters' dogs and cats who have already gone for a pain free world! I'm sure they'll make friends alright... may be a Funsters'Animals' Forum ....Georges Orwel will help on this one

oh dear, I was ok till I read through here and saw all the lovely comments and pics of your beautiful girl.
She had a wonderful life with you both.
RIP Lola x

Just been browsing back over old photos, sadly can't find our first year of MHF rallies, but a couple of posts on here reminded me of the trip to Durness in Jan 2015, just me and my dog (y)

Jeez David, that's twice in one day you've got me going! I have to say I agree with Frankie, words just ain't enough when it comes to our Furry Friends. So sorry for your pain but it ain't just hurting you it's everyone she met. Bye Lola!

My mum said before she died, "As long as people talk about me and mention my name, I will not have died."

Looking at this thread, something tells me that Lola is going to live for a very long time to come. X
