my background is 5 - 33000KVA but I was just pointing out that if things are not done correctly things can & do go wrong

Some can work for a month with no problems, some struggle to last a weekend
It's all about what you expect them to do
If you run hairdryer, washing machine, tumble dryer and tv 24/7 then lithium is your friend but if you only watch 30 mins of tv a week and charge your phone once a week then normal batteries are ok

this is very true

a guy only last night whilst using his 1kw inverter said
“it’s been great for 5 years” when I asked him about batteries

this morning he collared me and said

“it’s fxxxxd, went down to 9.8v and it’s bollox ed”

Why are you so curious?
It was canisbay or May, I can’t remember exactly. It was a family site listed on UK campsites. The next day went to scrabster and that’s what I rembember.

I was curious because I used to live in Thurso and was familiar with Scrabster but couldn’t think where one might get a hookup there.

Thanks for clarifying; my curiosity has been satisfied.

I have yet to meet anyone or read about anyone that has regretted getting Lithium.

I really regretted getting LIthium when i did.
I wish id got it a year earlier when the naff banners were toast within 18 months
