Lincoln Show 2013

Nice evening in the Eden Project (6 event Shelters lashed together). Last night Mike and Suggy entertaining us with guitar and vocals. :clap:

Right now the eden project looks like the church hall my mum used to take us to on Saturday mornings, it's a jumble sale on steroids as Funsters jockey for space with their tables of goods. Selling stuff they no longer want and buying what they don't really need:BigGrin: the sun has got his hat on and it's going to be a great weekend for the 250 Funsters here:thumb:

Wherever you are have a good weekend, we are going to :thumb:

Another great meet - thanks to all involved. Took 3 hours to get home in that amazing sunshine, but hey, it was great! :thumb::thumb:

Thanks to Jim and Sian for the first of hopefully, for us, many more enjoyable meets, so sorry we could not stay until tomorrow.

Thanks to all the people we met and whose "handle names" we were able to put faces too. Did enjoy the bacon buttie.

Every time we go out in our motorhome we have an adventure and coming home this time was no exception. We pulled into a service area on the M62 to be greeted by a woman asking if we had any spanners................................
Proudly I got out my gleaming tool kit, that had never seen an oily nut in its life and advanced towards her husband and their broken down car. They had broken their "fan belt" and despite having a replacement felt they needed to undo some bolts to allow the fan belt to pass around the pulleys.
(By now you will have gathered that I have no mechanical experience or knowledge at all) :Doh::Doh:
An hour later with oily hands and well used socket set we still had not got the fan belt fitted; as I had to be home in Dunfermline I made my apologies and after replacing his nuts (No comments please) returned to my mh washed up and left for home leaving the poor guy just as stranded and me rather sad that I was unable to help him on his way.

Managed to get home by 7.00pm in time for our visitors:thumb::thumb:

Did I learn a lesson from this experience - YES - If like me you have no mechanical experience at all make sure you belong to the AA or similar.

But isn't motorhoming fun :Rofl1::Rofl1:

Hope you

To all of you that had to leave i'll just say you missed a another good nights entertainment , and the drinks even got reduced to £1.80 a pint in the entertainment marquee, obviously you have to start buying two at a time at that point, just to save waiting time , might be leaving a little later than planned Monday
