Lincoln Show 2013

Hi Jim. We booked beginning of June and was on the first list. We seem to have been missed off the last list. We are hopefully arriving Thursday. Our first time with you and looking forward to meeting you all this time. We are carers for a little un and unfortunately had to cancel our last attempt to meet up, due to ill health, so we hope this time we make it.
 
We will see you all once again as we are trading at this show, unfortunatly we cannot camp with you as we are stuck in the trade area. Dont forget to visit me.

Lets hope for some good weather and to quote Jim "Blue Skies"
 
I reckon the darkside have got a hacker to remove Funsters from th Lincoln list!
Have you folks looked at their list, you might be on theirs!

You don't have to fill the form to attend, but it's a big help to the rally marshals if you do Broken Link Removed Thanks

Bebe Jim has been away all w/e so the list may not be up to date at the mo, as long as you have booked with the funsters that iis the main thing.. the form is to help the marshals as to whom and when folk are arriving

My Guitar is the first thing packed . :Blush:

Looking at the list of attendees, there are a few musicians and would be comedians . :Laughing:

I know there are others who play instruments and or sing but may not feel confident to get up and have a go ,

SO ...

Well me and the bitch are parked in a layby/rest area near Lincoln with the sun shining through the windows and Steve Wright on the radio.

There are 5 vans here already, but no funsters. The bitch has been off to say hello to the others (she is such a tart) but I will maintain dignity and read a book.

Look forward to seeing you all at the showground and yes Suggy, I have my little instrument with me.:Blush:
 
If you are looking for somewhere close to Lincoln to stay before meet .We have found a pub in Billinghay called Coach and Horses.It's a Brit Stop but they have a very large field behind the car park.Af you asked at the bar I'm sure they would let anyone stay.

Form just completed. Sorry its late have been in Scotland for last 2 weeks with no internet. At Melrose tonight and driving down to show tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing you all

Water supply at Lincoln Show.

Jim, Sian, Pam and myself are pitched up in the Funsters area at the Lincoln Showground. We have been allocated the same area as we had last year. The ground is in good condition and is firm. We have Portaloo's and an Elsan point nearby, however there is only one fresh water tap which is not easily accessible and may necessitate the use of a watering can or container should you wish to fill your tank. We would advise you to bring along an adequate supply of water with you if at all possible.

Hi Roger, Pam tells me that there is a Porta Shower unit not too far from our pitch. The unit looks clean and tidy with four units for both male and female use. There is bound to be a great demand for them, so expect to queue.

Hi Kath, as you drive into the Showground from the main entrance you may pass a few water taps on your way to the Funsters pitch. If there is not too much of a queue or they are free, stop and fill up if you can.

Thank you for the info... it is so funny as we always travel in the van full up with water and fuel.. but on this occasion trying to be economical we had decided to travel light :thumb::thumb:

Not liking to be without the fluids, I shall fill her up with cool lushious water :Doh::Doh:

I will encourage Mr J to fill the van again leaving home again so to be

BBut looking forward to meeting up again with the funster's old and new xxx
 
just had a look at the leaflet that came with the ticket/vehicle pass and it says Thursday 10am - 9pm, Friday /Saturday 8.30 am - 9pm
 
LET THE GATHERING COMMENCE.. :thumb:

11am and we will be on our way.. (Hopefully)....
