I've never looked as I only suffer Facebook as and when someone tells me there is something I 'need' to look at on there, but aren't there any Youtube videos that will point you in the right direction? Cuppa Yorkshire and 10 minutes in front of the tablet and you'll be as sprightly (on Facebook) as an 8 year old!!
You forget Ian - I've met you!!!that’s me !! Lol
You forget Ian - I've met you!!!

That’s a lot of money to lay out, even when you have money coming in, think you’ve done right in putting it off, you can always look again if needs be.
Shame about the possible girlfriend, maybe that wasn’t to be!
I hope you get some work soon, is the builder still putting you off or will you actually get some work from/with him?
No I didn't know, never heard of the concept either, but I would have thought there was enough out of the £15 breakfast to pay any dues, what happens to the money, does it go to charity or someone's pocket.I'd no idea this breakfast club wanted sooo much cash to join, I doubt chaser did either !
How do they justify that much ?
I think you did right by not joining just yet, but don't rule it out though, may be useful in the future.
Have a great week, may you find lots of good paying work
I have nothing to do with Facebook so might be talking out of my arse, but I thought it was supposed to be free, all the kids are never off it, what's this bloke going to do , the next door kid can't?Good morning,,,
well it’s Monday morning and I’m feeling motivated,, I have a lot of calls to make today, re adverts and getting a load of leaflets done etc,, I have also had the weekend to think about joining the BNI business networking group,, i have decided not to join today, or more specifically not to join and pay the money today,,, I will look again when I’m working but to just spend £850 joining fee and £60 per month at the present time, at least till I get working is not, for me a viable spend!!
Also something in the back of my brain is telling me that I don’t really fit in with the membership type,, there all in businesses that can support each other etc, and there all highly educated and that and the fact that there is no builder in the group for me to talk to about it, puts me off a bit! There all smashing people, but at the moment I don’t feel it’s a fit for me! I would rather spend the money trying to get work myself!!
so I had a quiet weekend,, I left it too long to contact the lady from POF and she sent me a lovely text proclaiming her love for a bloke she met last Tuesday! I hope that they will be happy for the two weeks that there going to be together! Lol. (cynical bstd) lol.
got lots to do today, including washing the van, she’s minging with road dirt!
hope you had a good weekend, chat later,,,, and if you have any thoughts about how I could move my business on, then let us know,, I’m just not willing, today, to spend a grand!!
I also spoke to the guy that started my Facebook page for me, and he wants £100 per month to run it,, I declined, so if any of you could help me to learn how to post pics, references etc then I would be grateful,, it’s all I can do to turn it on!
cheers,, xxxxxx
PS ianthebuilder i don’t mind being called ‘me old mate’ but I am a female of a certain age-not offended!
If you have a normal Facebook page I wouldn't be too worried about a business page, last place I would be looking for a builder, whereas if you keep your ordinary page updated ordinary folks will find it.I’m really struggling with this FB page thing,,
on my ordinary profile I have good pics, and I want to put them on my business page, I can’t even navigate my page properly! WTF,,, I hate this b....... x. I ain’t got the patience for it!!
Lions are a recognised charity and do some good work, it'd be interesting to find where this breakfast club money goes. As you say, £15 for breckie leaves some for admin etc.We have something that sounds similar in uttoxeter called the lions, they do all sorts of events through the year.
It's like laying bricks iangreat idea! I just don’t think the way normal intelligent people do!! Xx

Sounds as if it would be cheaper to join The Masons,,Think you had a lucky escape with the girl,,any one that can fall in love that quick and on line isnt normal BUSBY.I'd no idea this breakfast club wanted sooo much cash to join, I doubt chaser did either !
