I think you did right by not joining just yet, but don't rule it out though, may be useful in the future.

I've never looked as I only suffer Facebook as and when someone tells me there is something I 'need' to look at on there, but aren't there any Youtube videos that will point you in the right direction? Cuppa Yorkshire and 10 minutes in front of the tablet and you'll be as sprightly (on Facebook) as an 8 year old!! :LOL::LOL:

That’s a lot of money to lay out, even when you have money coming in, think you’ve done right in putting it off, you can always look again if needs be.
Shame about the possible girlfriend, maybe that wasn’t to be!
I hope you get some work soon, is the builder still putting you off or will you actually get some work from/with him?
 
Clicking on the pics is a bit odd. The title of the pic at the top stays the same whichever one you hover over and I can't get the one below the star to appear larger. No criticism of the page though - it looks superb. (y)

well shrimp, me old mate,, he’s put me off three or four times,, I’m supposed to go again on wed this week,, we shall see!!

No I didn't know, never heard of the concept either, but I would have thought there was enough out of the £15 breakfast to pay any dues, what happens to the money, does it go to charity or someone's pocket.
We have something that sounds similar in uttoxeter called the lions, they do all sorts of events through the year.

got lots to do today, including washing the van, she’s minging with road dirt!

I also spoke to the guy that started my Facebook page for me, and he wants £100 per month to run it,, I declined, so if any of you could help me to learn how to post pics, references etc then I would be grateful,, it’s all I can do to turn it on!

I have nothing to do with Facebook so might be talking out of my arse, but I thought it was supposed to be free, all the kids are never off it, what's this bloke going to do , the next door kid can't?
 
I’m really struggling with this FB page thing,,

on my ordinary profile I have good pics, and I want to put them on my business page, I can’t even navigate my page properly! WTF,,, I hate this b....... x. I ain’t got the patience for it!!

If you have a normal Facebook page I wouldn't be too worried about a business page, last place I would be looking for a builder, whereas if you keep your ordinary page updated ordinary folks will find it.

Lions are a recognised charity and do some good work, it'd be interesting to find where this breakfast club money goes. As you say, £15 for breckie leaves some for admin etc.

Start small by just writing a post on your page - it’s at the top of the page where it says posts. Click there and then click where it says write something. It also gives you options to post photos there, but I think you may have to save your photos from your private page in order to be able to post them on your business page. You should keep two separate pages, as you don’t want the world to be looking at what everyone posts to you privately, and it won’t look professional in amongst all the funny cat videos etc! ?

Sounds as if it would be cheaper to join The Masons,,Think you had a lucky escape with the girl,,any one that can fall in love that quick and on line isnt normal ;) ;) ;) BUSBY.
