Lenny's Wandering around France again.

Been away 11 nights it's getting expensive, up to €16.20 now and might be paying tonight.

Standards are slipping! just coming to the end of four weeks through France to the Picos mountains and back and it grieved me to pay €2 at Marboue the other day for some water 😃

Can't get away from flipping Funsters on this trip, look who's parked behind us.
Dave & Sue Hippychippy, they are our neighbours from home they live 50 yds from us.

Sovern branch of the Cathargo owners cub eh.
I'm a bit disappointed not to have been alerted to narrow driving routes, captured on the dashcam 😉
(y) His reversing skill are equal only to the French army.

And of course to complete the trip to the village.

The boys had fish the girls had lamb. The lamb portions were huge at least ¾lb and cooked to perfection I had to help both girls out (Dave doesn't like meat).
Only the boys had puds.

Must say the food was superb.

Well that was a nice break never reliased how much time I was wasting doing these threads. Got very close to not bothering with it.

It was Phil's comment that really would me up, I've met Phil and spent a few days with him and we get on well but often he just doesn't know when to call it a day when posting.

Had to come back it was getting to risky with Tam's Northernraider threat especially has he now has problems keeping his batteries charged.

Can I ask a favour please Jim can you delete the fishy and other non reavant posts.
So glad you’re back posing again, don’t think you realise just how much you inspire us. We’re on our way north through Spain to France. Keep it up, love your threads. ☺️💕

We guessing all 4 or just you and the boss Lenny ?

Welcome back Lenny.
Personally, I’d leave the posts on - they serve as a reminder that you can’t just hijack others posts and continue with your posts when the OP says to pack it in.
Enjoy the rest of your trip.
We should all be grateful to read someone’s trip - especially at this time of year when most of us can only dream of getting abroad in our vans.

Saturday we wandered into Sarlat with Chris & Graham for the the market Graham and me bought some bargain end of season summer shirts for €5 surprised how good they were.
They moved on Saturday afternoon we are staying to have a look around Sarlet tomorrow.

Got the well traveled (all the way from UK) fillet steaks on the Barbie.
Served with saute potatoes and Peppercorn sauce.

I have a little green gas bbq like yours , very handy when you don’t want to mess with charcoal.

Monday moved a few km down the road to Grolejac. Nice free Aore near the Dordogne Rive, and a cycle path to Sarlat on a disused railway line. View attachment 678629
I just remembered we did another one/two on the Dordogne but the wife didnt tell me to do a thread but the pictures are on the photo of the day thread and it runs from Saint caprice into Bergerac and the other one goes from Sarlat to Cazoules and the pictures can be seen here on pages 802 and 803 of the photo of the day thread

See above for photos of the disused railway line I didnt write a thread about ! (if still in the area)

I'm a pensioner, and to make it worse from Yorkshire
Especially for Yorkshire citizens they invented pockets which aren’t that deep, so that from time to time even they can get a few coins out to enjoy themselves 👍😎😆

I am guilty of jumping in on some threads and did not realise I was "hijacking" I was guilty of doing it on northernraiders posts for a while but now I realise that it is really wrong to do it and it really offends so I try not to do it, yet here I am doing it again:lipssealed:
I won't even sign my name:shake:
