Lenny's on the road to Portugal

Porto - Yuck, dirty, tatty smelly city. The boss has lost a lot of brownie points by dragging me there.
Started off on the wrong foot, the ticket machine for the Metro/Tram did me out of €5.50. I was getting a 24hr ticket had the instructions in English, asked if I wanted 1 or 2 Titles. I assumed it meant 2 tickets/persons, nope it was 2 x 24hr on one ticket.

Went into one of the smaller port houses, they said we are the smallest so our Port is cheaper.
Cheapest bottle €25 up to €150, no thanks I'll stick to Lidl at €3.99.

I gave it a laugh for your comment on the Port price.

Have you managed to sell the extra 24hr ticket as looks like lots of potential punters on the aire.

A must see place Lenny, Mena and I loved it. Did you find the one Euro tram, one Euro bar and the free port !!!! I think not ! Safe travels.
Didn't like it dirty smelly scruffy, and didn't find any one Euro bars, won't be going back.
I suppose anything is exciting after Corby. :ROFLMAO:

Nothing wrong with my home town. It has some noteworthy history and made a significant contribution to the success of the D-Day landings. Porto needs to be explored Lenny, there are some great Museums and the Church with all the gold covered sculptures where photography is barred. (I'll post you a picture). You need to get out more Chum. Mena says hello.

Confused now. Intending to visit Porto next year. Is it worth it or not?
I would say yes . I had an advantage when I visited as I had a local guide, a guy I had met in villamoura lived in Porto so he had said when I visited to let him know and he would show me around.

There's lots of hidden gems there

Even the inside of the railway station is worth seeing

If you are reading this Mena give that old boy a clip and tell him to stop giving me greif. :ROFLMAO:

It’s Lenny HB we’re talking about here.
€30? What do you think? ?

Richard

The boss says it was. I thought it was only €24 in October.
Some very steep hills and narrow bits between big rocks, not for the faint hearted. :D

Tiny village of La Perouille, little park & lake in the middle of nowhere.

I was there on the 9th of September , don’t think the water was working
Even got a shot of my rc helicopter
