You could have popped down to Portugal, I had to pay €10 for a hair cut. Interesting experience all done with sign language.

You were robbed, it’s only €5 at our local. He takes about 45 minutes with all the faffing around, get my eyebrows, ears and nose trimmed, some of the time with a cut throat razor. The wife always comments on what a good job he’s done.

Was a bit pricy only pay £6.50 in the UK.
At least I had a nice lady doing the job.

Thanks Lenny HB for this thread , enjoyed it a lot , although it has frustrated me somewhat , as not been away this year due to moving bungalows to Cornwall , but you have given me food for thought for 2020 , when hopefully be off on at least a couple of french forays .
hopefully on a reasonably priced holiday !!
