Lenny's off again Germany, then wherever

Fantastic place to visit, almost impossible to see around it in one visit. Concorde (F-BVFB) and Tupolev TU-144 (Concordeski) side by side both open to visitors but a steep climb up through the cabins!

Lenny HB are you going to the sister museum at Speyer?

Others for info Technic Museum Sinsheim and Technic Museum Speyer

We've been to both over the years.

Been to the Speyer one and they have a good Stellplatz there, the town is a nice place to have a walk around also.

We arrived late due to yet more road closures unbelievable the amount we have come across on this trip.
Not got time to tomorrow we have plans, a rare event for us, plans that is.
this year nearly every road i went on was being worked on

If you're into German timber framed houses try following the Deutsche Fachwerkstraße its a German holiday route or Deutsche Ferienstrasse, one of many...

Seeing the NSU Quickly takes me back. A mate of mine had one. Digressing a few more photos, given Lenny HB claim to a sylphlike body, I can but admire his metabolism coping with the food illustrated.
Had to look that word up, mmmm not sure how to take that. :giggle:

I don't think I'll risk life & limb by suggesting it to 'er indoors.
My good lady was quite happy to sit and watch the world go by as I wandered around Speyer, there was a robot floor cleaning machine that tried to polish her shoes whilst she sat there.

That was July 2022.

Yesterday, we has another wander around Eppingen, to early in the day for any Coypu about.

Didn't get very far, flipping road closures again.

Unintentionally ended up in France but found a lovely quiet wild spot a nice little car park for the night at Fort Louis.
A lot warmer here 12° this morning compared to 4° the last couple of mornings.

One of my favourite combinations!

I used to put the baked beans into the cottage pie. Love steak and kidney pie with baked beans too 😀

The town is not very exciting but it has quite an amazing Basilica, the sheer size of it for small town.

The town itself is a bit scruffy they have done a nice job on the roads with block paving & cobbles but the buildings are scruffy reminds us of French towns 30 or 40 years ago & the outside of the Basilica has not been cleaned up.
Also dog shit everywhere not see that in a French town for a few years.
