Lenny's Looking for Some Sunshine

OK let's start again, yesterday afternoon we arrived at Le Tréport on the North Coast of France.
Wall to Wall sunshine 28° even at 10pm it was still 24°.

Had to park in the town Aire both the Aires on the cliff top were full.

Arrived back home yesterday after a long 20 mile drive to Dieppe and another long 20 mile drive home from Newhaven.:LOL::LOL:

On the ferry a nice French girl who works for a British charity to protect sea mammals gave a nice talk about Whales, Dolphins etc that can be seen in the channel and we spent a fair bit of time with her.
When we got home we went and collected Daughter's dawg and took her for a walk on the beach & there was just a few yards out from the shore a seal swimming around.

Didn't do a lot on this trip so a bit boring for you boys & girls that have been following it, a bit of a lazy one for us only did 2680 miles.

Thanks Lenny HB for your trip info and photos , think it's change my mind for next year , gonna have to go again , regardless of our (both) health issues or not . Reading what you and chaser have said has made me really envious hopefully we will still get health insurance .

7.80 in spain would buy you 2 small beers and two brandy,s,

Just saying!
We were paying between €2.20 to €3.20 for ½Lt of beer in Spain, in France €7.60 that's why it was the first & the last.

Loved following your trip, when's the next one?
Going to Thailand in August.
Not looking forward to it being dragged out there, daughter expecting another baby. Last time Mi went to Thailand I took the van to France.
.
We will probably go to France/Spain mid September, may fit in a short trip end of August to Caravan Salon a bit tight as not back from Thailand until the 28th.

No, bad enough yesterday with other daughters two here all day.

Edit:
Just been told one of them has chicken pox and we have got him today.
Me thinks I'm taking daughter's dawg for a very long walk.

Loved reading the blog Lenny HB
When I read blogs like this from funsters in France, it saves me actually going there and concentrating going to the best bits of Europe, I.e Germany, Austria and Slovenia:wink::rofl:
Cheaky sod.
Germany would be OK if it wasn't for the abysmal food, same goes for Austria and Slovenia.

Worse food i ever nearly ate was in France. Something called Chitlins or the like. Sausage like thing that stunk unbelievably. Absolutley disgusting.
Best food without a doubt was in the suburbs of India, any city.

Give me currywürst, Wiener schnitzel and proper steak (Los gauchos in Koblenz 😋😋) over Frogs legs, escargot, cheval and andouille (never had it or seen it but sounds awful) ANYDAY:wink::rofl:👍👍

Look at eurotunnel insurance, unless they have changed it the health condition is only that, if asked, your doctor would say you are fit to travel. If we cannot get that then we are going back to relying on the GHIC but we do have contingency funds to cover eventualities.
