We went for the day to the city of Arts & Sciences when we had a place at Gran Alacant. I say the day but we didn't arrive until lunchtime as we meandered up the N332 via Cullera and the Albufera parc natural .

PhilandMena drove past Cullera today on the new motorway (that confused the satnag). Shame you can't stay there anymore, there was a good Funster meet there a few years ago, apart from some old boy winging about losing his step.
Same old boy way playing Dylan 24/7, I used to like Dylan not any more.

Today didn't go quite as planned, we were going to spent Easter on a friend's drive in Javea, slight problem due to the length of our van and the long wheelbase we couldn't get through the gate.

Being Easter and on the coast everthing in Spain is rammed, a phone round and found a site with one pitch that would take our van & they would hold it for an hour for us.
When I told Mr. Wallet he tried to kill me, no ACSI rates over Easter have to pay full price. Hence copious quantities of beer & wine tonight.

Didn't do very well on the grub today, salads were good but the paella was naff and I practically had to carry 'er indoors out of the restaurant after she had a small glass of sangria.

Did you get close enough to confirm its no longer in use Lenny. I think Covid was the main reason it shut down and I wonder if the town would now miss the revenue and allow them back. It is a smashing little seaside town and was a great wilding spot, with loads and loads of space to choose from. Busman Dave and I pitched up on a smashing little spot when we arrived, just the two of us, minding our own business, nowhere near anybody else, soaking up the sun, enjoying some cool beers and playing some music. You know, chilling as they say. Not causing harm to anyone and then out of the blue an pikhey and his mate turn up and invade our privacy, start taking the piss out of my portable step and generally living up to their reputation. Just as well Busman Dave and I are live and let live Funsters.

We only drove by on the motorway, P4N not listing it.
It's on CC, 3 reviews one saying no longer there in Jan & the other 2 in Feb & March slating it.
If it still is avaliable I would stay there again as you say nice town and beach. We are heading further south at the moment.

If your near Javea they have things going on all weekend in the historic old town, we learnt many years ago about the Spanish and the first trip of the year for many, fortunately we are looking after a King Charles down towards Alicante and it's incredibly peaceful.

Just letting dinner go down then time for a swim. Bob.

He did have that look about him didn't he, you know, as rough as a badgers arse and very, very rude. If I remember correctly he slagged off your tea towels too when you were comparing cutlery and other kitchen shit that Funsters discuss after invading someone else's pitch. I had a plan though ! I thought I would see the both off you off with 24/7 Bob Dylan crap but bugger me I could not have chosen a bigger pair of Dylan fans if I went to one of his concerts.
