The lady in Lidl here in Portugal fiddled with the app on our behalf and it now works here. Should be interesting when we get back to the Uk changing it back.
I've just changed the country to Spain, whish I'd known that before spending €100 this morning.

It's nearly 30 years since we last went, and I'm sure it was a lot cheaper then.

But ..... it was an amazing place. Very atmospheric. (it's been both an Islamic mosque and a Christian cathedral).

No point in visiting Cordoba without visiting the Mezquita-Catedral. It would be like going to Granada and shunning the Alhambra.

It's only money! Admittedly, quite a lot of it! 😀
I've done both lol.

Nice view of alhambra from the free parking spot on the hill behind it.

It gets better on to the Alcazar, entry free for wrinkles, obviously not enough wrinkles had to show ID to prove age.

How come the wrinklies get free access to things they could have seen being built and us young ones have to pay up 🤣🤣
Its an outrage .

Doggy bag . Have it for supper
I always carry small plastic bags for that purpose, we are in Greece atm and the local cats are grateful. We also have a fox that comes by every morning so he gets leftovers as well

The Lidl app is good in France, too. It actually gives discounts on things that you want, rather than icing-coated do-nuts like the UK one does.
I guess they analyse your shopping habits better.

I've got 4 Euros off my next Lidl France spend.

I don't know whether it's because of the better exchange rate, but France doesn't seem so expensive this year 🤔.

Only works in the UK.
I suppose I could try downloading the Spainish one.
You just have to go in settings and change country in same app. In Spain only available in Spanish.
Weirdly a whole page of posts was invisible to me until I posted this. Too late as always 🤣

Cooler today 26°c apparently 🤔
Wonderful as we have to walk from the aire uphill to collect our car, tonight is our last night in the hot box, home tomorrow night can't wait missed the air-conditioning and swimming pool. 😎
Back to a normal life. (y)
