I agree it was bad two years ago. Had started to slowly get worse and then those CCP ones opened, some really good, but slowly the ones that aren’t municipal sites they’ve taken over just were not being looked after. And a friend has just returned and found that she ended up using virtually all CCP sites and several were really bad.

Never had a bit of bother in Spain. Same when I was there 2 years ago.

This place makes a sleepy French village seem like the life & soul of the party, you could hear a pin drop.
Apparently it gets overrun at weekends.

El Rocio, the Wild West. :). There's a black Madonna in a church there, surrounded by candles which may explain the colour.
 
not going to guess the bill, haven’t a scooby on prices out there, never been, but the bolognese looked good, plenty of sauce, the tuna and chips looked a bit sad though and was hopefully tastier than it looked..

Mi is not a fan of fresh tuna unless it's been marinated in something, she commented on how nice it was.

We’ve been to El Rocio twice the 2nd time especially to see the birds and was astounded how the lake had dried out because of the lack of rain then went onto Tablas Daimiel just below Madrid and the same thing there no lake Spain has really suffered these last 5yrs
