Lenny's Heading for Germany

Hi Lenny.
Sorry, haven’t been keeping up over the last few days so hadn’t heard you were poorly. Hope the op goes smoothly and you are quickly back to full form.
Best wishes and love to Mi.
Richard & Kate.

Best wishes Lenny... you'll be up and about in no time

Hope you have had had the Op by now and are recovering. Best wishes to Mrs Lenny also.

It doesn't help me with quarantine though ...I'm stuck here with no reason

Well go into hospital for an operation - just to kill the time.

Just caught up with the news. Sending you best wishes for a speedy recovery Lenny. Will be looking forward to having you and the wife back on the road to keep up with all your travels and posts.

Hope all is well Lenny HB
having been through this i can honestly say that i was great after the keyhole surgery no issues at all.

I was in Bulgaria working at the time when it happened to me...
while i had good care and was sorted, I am certain they were not as efficient as or as well equipped as the German hospital. It was in a January which is a bit cold in the north of Bulgaria in Silistra; A&E had camp cots and the staff were in track suits.......
you didnt know who was a nurse and who was a walk in off the street.o_O

In my case it caused acute pancreatitis have never experienced so much pain and it was that which took a while to get over.

I am sure it will be a dawdle for you;). Take it slowly (y)

Get well soon Lenny. Know what you have been through. The pain can feel like a heart attack. I was in hospital only overnight after key hole. You will feel better than ever afterwards. Stay safe both of you.
Brian

Sorry gave up trying to like everyone's posts thanks for all your kind words.

Flipping hospitals found our this afternoon they had been treating me for Covid all day as they has no results and told me op persponed to next week.
Anyway got a great male nurse who speaks good English he got on the case. Had a lung CT scan and lung specialist looked at it and said I was clear & blood test came back negative.
Then had a more intensive ultrasonic scan and think they may be able to remove the stones without operating now just stones not an infection.
Just had a CT scan of the gauldbladder so they can make desision.

A more important problem I've not had any food or beer since Saturday hope to get some food shortly.

If you dont get out soon, Mi will have drunk all that wine that you bought for yourself you both :giggle:

Think positively though.... the 10 days that the antibiotics stop you drinking as well will soon pass::bigsmile:::bigsmile:

I think they break them up with some sort of ultrasonic machine into smaller pieces but then you have to pass them  Just thought I would cheer you up.:Eeek:

I'm having difficulty keeping up with this. Good luck with the removal unless, of course, they change their mind again.
