Lenny's Heading for Germany

I couldn't care a toss if it's goat, lamb or mutton it's meat. For christ sake guys get a life.
Ha! Ha! Ha! Not hard to see the impact your new diet is having on you. Chill out my old fruit pastel. Besides I like a good curry and the goat Tagine in Morocco is to die for. Bet someone pops up and say's that's not a curry

Barmy here at 7:30am outside temp 13° now the suns come up it's dropped to 11.5°.

Weird day for me yesterday, felt OK first thing then got a bit tired and not feeling so good. On route stopped at an Aldi and that really stressed me out, I think it may be breathing with a mask on is causing the problem.
When we arrived here I was totally drained had a ½hr rest and deceded to walk down to the dam as the weather was good. Had to have a few rests on the way there & back.
Got back sat down for 15 min and I felt fine tiredness gone felt great, really weird & feel really good this morning.
You seem to be doing quite a lot Lenny. Do take care.

Taking it fairly easy I find after walking a couple of miles I feel knackered but after ½hr I feel less tired than before the walk. So trying to do a bit each day.

Big mistake this morning, I looked in the mirror after my shower. I look like a Biafran refuge must have lost over 2 stone, beer gut gone replaced with flabby skin.

Forecast got it wrong today, it was a beautiful day wall to wall sunshine all day 18°.
Had a walk over the hill and down to the little museum, the guy who's museum it is, is a larger than life character, loves Brits and our Royal Family photos of them everywhere. He was over the moon about Prince Williams visit.

Lovely drive this afternoon no Autobhans beautiful autum colours. Now at a little hamlet, one gasthof, one farm near Bad Berleburg. Quite a few miles on single track roads to get here.
Lenny's wallet not happy €5, but it looked nicer than other stops in the area.

The boss is getting quiet proficient at Motorhome cooking, I even enjoyed a beer tonight but wine still tastes yuck.
Still warm no heating on, has started peeing down and wiped out the sat signal.

Pork with apple cooked in cider.

This extended my German vocabulary. :)

"Pooping and peeing is forbidden" I think though I'm not sure about "gibt". I suspect it is an abbreviation. :)

I hope the bears understand it.

Do the telephone boxes still smell Lenny. 😁
I had roasted goat in Portugal a lot stronger taste than lamb, but curry anything it could be anything. 😲 🤔 Bob

Hi Lenny
Pleased to see that you are recovering after your trauma. You posted the other day that you are pleased with the performance of your new tyres. Ride comfort and traction. Are you running at 4,500 kgs GVW? What pressures have you set them at? On a more important note it is concerning that you are spending your hard earned on overnight stops. Maybe your travel insurance will reimburse you for these unplanned costs:giggle: I hope this is not the thin end of the wedge you starting to pay! Before long you will be running with empty water tanks and god forbid, putting that blue stuff in your toilet!! I hope no one sees you in Machine Mart buying your first generator! Start of a slippery slope methinks(n)

Yep we are 4500kg running around 4200kg front at 62psi & rear 72psi.
Leaving a SP the other day the exit was very steep block paving that was a bit damp traction control cut in a bit but nothing like it would have done wh the Michelins.
Appears to be quite common on the heavy chassis I know other people who have wheels spinning up on steep slopes in the wet. I wonder if the traction control is set to cut in sooner on the heavy chassis. My front axle weight is 300kg more than on my last van with a light chassis.

Thanks for the information on the tyres Lenny. I have the "standard" Michelin Agilis campers and they are terrible. I have dropped the pressures but show them anything slightly steep and damp especially if there is a turn involved and they just spin. Traction control cuts in and goes mental. Even with the pressure dropped it is a very hard ride.
