No need to rub it in.
You on another trip?

Like to try and spend in the local community but Luxembourg food prices are eye watering, may have to cycle over to Germany to stock up.
Sun has come out now and the rain has stopped, managed to dodge the rain until last night.

We’re in Greece - arrived on Tuesday.

Much of Europe is so expensive now, we decided to come a bit further.

Only problem is I’m being eaten alive by mozzies

Enjoy your trip !

Don't be silly it's just an ornament.:)

You could have used your awning if you were in Greece.

Found a lovely wild camping spot on the beach - perfect for enjoying a cold beer under your awning.

Didn't realise you were in the van. Which route down did you take?

Calais
Mont Blanc tunnel
Bari - Patras (Camping on board)
Took 5 nights to get to Bari

Got 16 nights in Greece, then take the same route back

28 nights Total

Was speaking to a Cloggie on the ferry who does the trip down in 2 days - 1,000 km per day

When we went we sailed from Ancona taking in the San Marino Motor GP on the way. Spent 4 weeks in Greece nowhere near long enough.

Year know the feeling I've been limited to 6 weeks. This trip only 4 weeks as daughter wants to go back to works for a couple weeks so she gets paid for August, she is a teacher.

Having had a couple of nice days in Remich we have finally made it to France, only 50km down the road in Metz.

All 7 spaces in the free Aire taken so had to park in adjoining carpark, had to pay €8 to park until 18:00 then free until 9:00 Monday, that's blown the camping budget.

Getting warmer now 27° today and still sitting outside in shorts at 10pm, soon be holiday weather. Hopefully as we go further south it will get warmer.

Nice carpark, right on the river.
