Learn to crochet?

Well that is a very lovely crown, dId you make that yourself Andrea ? I really think @snailtrailer is Her Maj of the Making.
Do you know what I think I could just about manage that. Our Aldi was packed with crafting stuff today and I managed to resist the lion

Might nip to Aldi tomorrow, their craft promo seems to have been really popular from what I have seen today.

Move away from the lion.

And now I have lost my black buttons ......... I'm not counting the poppies unless they are finished.

At least you have productive insomnia Joy, I'm just alternating reading and playing solitaire mahjong, no use to anybody!
Hope you get some sleep soon.

Have you looked in the fridge?

LOL no, I found them at the bottom of the box of wool..... buried under the Aldi treasures.

I agree I love seeing all the other crafts too.

My first attempt at a bag using up wool I bought but in reality was not too keen on when I got it home.

I will do some poppies today but am waiting to get some more red. I’m hoping (unlikely I know ) that Aldi spain might have some goodies on Wednesday when we visit :)

I'm feeling guilty now as I haven't done any poppies yet. I've already broken the rule of finish one item before starting the next by making the little jumper soooooooooooooo I can buy some red wool today and abandon my granny squares for a little while. Rules are meant to be broken aren't they!!!!

But I have a "sitting and watching the tv" project, a "travelling" project, a "big" project and a "fun" project all on the go. As long as I don't start another project in the same category I'm okay, aren't I ?????

That’s gorgeous! I always have at least 4 projects on the go at once, variety is the spice of life ;)

Pam I have about four things on the go stops me getting bored that’s my excuse anyway and I’m sticking to it.:giggler:
The bag looks lovely @Ven

I finished my skinny scarf last night so am allowed to start a new project..... think it's going to be a hooked rug, for a change.

Way too messy to take in the 'van though and I'm planning another escape next week. That means I can start another crochet project as well :-)

Exciting times :-)

Now do I do a Granny Square first or a poppy?

After our house guests get themselves out of bed we need to do some noisy DIY and then as it isn't raining we may take the wee one up to Jurassic Kingdom (or World or whatever it is called) this afternoon.

PS Anyone ever used these? They look fun and easy and quick.

@Puddleduck. Yes they are pretty popular in our village , we are using them to make flower stems for our yarn bombing .

I am about to start knitting one of these.

It is to decorate a chair that has been painted yellow for our yarnbombing event, we may also need to knit a Van Gogh figure to sit on the chair.
