Update: Cushions and zips did not arrive todayIt’s a pile of cut out cushion covers with the ties to attach to them (which are probably what you think look like runner beans!) as they’re going to be seat pads for my kitchen chairs.
The cushions and zips should arrive tomorrow at which point I’ll finish them and apply to said chairs.
It depends how much fabric I've got left when the kids ones are finished.Blimey you really are making me look slack! Lucky family, look forward to the picture of everyone wearing them. Are you both going to have one too?
I’m thinking I might make some for myself if I get a chance and there’s enough fabric. All the grandkids love Nana pants and I’ve got a bit of a backlog for pant requests because of making the seasonal jumpers, plus my cricut arrived and distracted me!@Offagain I just love the Christmas pants!!!!! Could do with some of those myself!!!!!
I love them and they’re so comfy. I use bands rather than elastic though as I tried that once and it didn’t go wellI still have a half made pair of jersey knickers somewhere in my craft room
Ah maybe that’s when I lost the will to live then ! Not sure what you mean by bands Andrea ?I use bands rather than elastic though as I tried that once and it didn’t go well
waistband and leg cuffs are made from cotton Lycra, either the same as the body of the pants or contrastingAh maybe that’s when I lost the will to live then ! Not sure what you mean by bands Andrea ?
That's a great idea and some wool I will put to good use doing them .Hi . I have really enjoyed seeing and hearing about all your Christmas makes.
I have a suggestion for quick one that I have found is very popular with my friends. They ask for more the next year.
Wrist warmers. Small and quick to make . Very comforting in this cold weather.
They’re lovely, and a perfect use for scraps.Wrist warmers. Small and quick to make . Very comforting in this cold weather.
That’s beautiful, I literally do not know anyone that still reads an actual book though The convenience of Kindles have converted us completely living in the van.
These adverts keep popping up on my screen. Nice quick pressy for all ages
I’m going to use the (free) thumbs up cuff pattern from Waves and Wild which I’ve previously attached to hoodies for some of the grandsprogs. Line it with fleece and attach a ribbing cuff. That's a clever idea. Not thought of using fabric.
Co ordinate to pullovers and tops.
I read actual books, don't own a kindle. That’s beautiful, I literally do not know anyone that still reads an actual book though The convenience of Kindles have converted us completely living in the van.
Me too! Due to insomnia, I try to limit my screen time at night.I read actual books, don't own a kindle.
I love my kindle. So useful esp in middle of night or when waiting for appointments. That’s beautiful, I literally do not know anyone that still reads an actual book though The convenience of Kindles have converted us completely living in the van.
I felt exactly the same initially but full timing in the van, I soon got over it though. I do miss my big coffee table/ art books thoughNot all books are available on kindle. Kindle great for travelling and waiting for appointments etc but nothing beats the feel and smell of a real book
My reading has seriously suffered since I started spending so many hours a day crocheting or stitching, which is why my TV/ film addiction is so well fedHave had some brilliant free books on kindle and some utter ones too. Find it can be cheaper continuing with a series, to get the rest in a charity shop. some have all as freebies, but others really draw you in.
Haven't found a way to knit and read a book at the same time though.
