Some of the ladies on the forum suggested that this might be a fun thing to do. We are not excluding anyone on the basis of gender but the title gives you a clue to the current list of interested participants.

Early plans are for walks and/or cycles around Rutland Water, a possible meal out at a local hostelry, quizzes, BBQ, boat trip etc. Other suggestions very welcome.

As always participants are free to join in any activity or not as they wish.

There will be no electric hook ups. Just water, CDP and a lovely view.

Site fees are £7 per night per unit but there may be a couple of pounds more to pay to cover incidental expenses. More on that later.

The dates have been chosen to follow on from the Peterborough Show which is only about 20 miles away.

Please let us know if you are interested. We'll be starting with a provisional list so don't worry if you need to change later. At the moment we're interested in potential numbers.

I would like to attend any Ladies rallies what a good idea but we maybe in spain during this one but do keep me posted
 
Hi @Pete&Sara, Glad you also think this is a good idea. I will put you on the list as a possible so that you don't get lost in postings and who knows, you may be back by then.:) There has already been a suggestion of a 2nd Ladies meet further south at a later point next year so maybe you would be free for that if it were to come off.

At this rate, we could be looking at planning a 2nd meet before we have even had the first ! Just shows that there really is a demand for Ladies meets - not to replace any other meets, but as an addition. :)

very much like this idea we have just retired so not been able to get to rallies until now...we are in Norfolk so anything this way is wonderful

Hi all, my partner Dawn & I are interested, but only as a possible at this stage dependant on work commitments. Do you allow dogs at your meets, this would be our first, unless we manage to get to one of the others before then. Many thanks, Kae & Dawn
 
Hi Kae and Dawn. Dogs are very welcome - we'll be bringing our two and there are loads of places for walking near by. Really great if you can make it. There's no problem about making a decision much nearer the time. This list is just to gauge interest and to start getting to know one another.

I have a bodhran I could bring?? I notice that the meet will be during the week, and wonder if it would be worth running over a weekend so that those who work could come??
 
We've arranged this meet to follow the Peterborough show, hence the dates. This is the first time we've arranged a meet like this but I'm sure there'll be loads of opportunities for others to follow. :)
P.S. A bodrhan would be great!
