Rally Chat Ladies Meet 2016

Wouldn't worry about Tootles ................ he'll be the one sat in the corner with a long wig on and stilletto heeled shoes and his legs need shaving ... but he won't fool me. :) Does anybody play a musical instrument so we can sit round and have a singalong whilst drinking the wine...

Just a little thing, I see earlier you were thinking of field 9, but with the number you have going now you would never all get level on that field. All the other fields (and there are many) are quite level but field 9 slopes in every direction.

Thanks Carol. Great advice. Mags

Shirley plays the guitar and I can bring some kind of whistle. Anyone else?

Also interested but if it's a follow on from Peterborough what happens to hubby.

My mind just running wild, Sandra..... as usual.. :) Gonna try and sleep now that the world is waking up.

Hi @Vandar , I think they are making their own way home. Also, not everyone will be going to Peterborough , it just made sense for the dates to follow this for anyone who had travelled to the show. It would be lovely to meet you if you could make it :)

I also think the cheese and wine sounds a great idea and the music making will almost certainly follow! I could bring some percussion. I guess we need a range of activities to cover the weather. Has anyone done / interested in doing geocaching? I have done it a few times and really enjoyed it.

Yes we've done geocaching and it is fun. As long as a few people download the geocaching app onto their smartphones beforehand we could do it in groups / pairs. Something else to remember to set up nearer the time. Maybe we need a TO DO list somewhere.

I was thinking about a shelter/ meeting place. Went to a mini meet once where we parked doors facing and rolled out our awnings so that they met in the middle. It worked pretty well. Ended up getting up in the middle of the night to roll them in when it got windy.

@Mags52 , I have a pop up day shelter which will be with me - not very big but better than nothing if the weather is iffy! Also I might need to do a night on a site with EHU prior to this meet as I will have been reliant on my batteries whilst at Peterborough, and with a compressor fridge the solar manages only if the weather is sunny, anything less and I can only go 4/5 days.
Will see what next year brings re weather!!

We have a shelter too. About 6 people can get into it with chairs. Hoping for sunshine though after this year.

I have a spare driveaway awning and a tent so if we have a few we could make them our centre point?

Hi Wendo, glad that you will be joining us and really looking forward to meeting you :)

I could bring our little generator for emergencies, it' s a bit noisy, but all the wine, music etc would drown it out. Not the least bit musical but so enjoy hearing others, unfortunately after the wine I may be tempted to join in, suggest earplugs are brought

No but I will try anything once...... (ps I have an only child.) :)

You won't be so retiring once we all get our hands on you ..... singing, dancing, joking, laughing... etc etc. :)

Hi, could I be added to the list? We have not started to plan our normal trip about that time so I hope to fit this jaunt in :-)
