Knives

Quite so. (But then I don’t think any entry in this thread has questioned that.)
I don't think he was questioning that at all, just a little reminder to the woke fu**s to not take it out of context. It has always been the boys in blue, as an endearment rather than an insult or disrespect, at least during the last 66 years I have been here. Maybe in my next life it will be different, but I learn quickly 😂

Just curious, but has anyone had a problem with the boys in blue having an issue with the kitchen knives we all carry in our chosen motorised homes?

Anyone heard of anyone else having a problem?
Another thing that worries me which is similar to your worries about the knives is drinking alcohol.
For instance. I can't find a pitch and manage to find a public place or pub carpark with the consent of the publican. Fancy a couple of beers and don't have any plans to move the campervan. I worry about the Police turning up and booking me for being over the legal limit and in charge of a motor vehicle in a public place.
It's just one of those situations where anyone could find themselves in a bit of a pickle.

If your keys are in a cupboard and the cab seats are swivelled & the blinds or similar are covering the cab windows, no one will interpret that you plan on driving.

I was chatting with a caravaner sometime back who told me that he had a visit from the Police after being reported by his neighbour for sharpening his kitchen knife on the front doorstep. Back in the day everybody used to do that.
The neighbour just jealous of them having such a high quality, fine grade front step?

Could have a camera system and an Xbox controller to steer with...?

I’ve always got a Dolphin knife in my work trousers on display.

I might not need it but it’s my little kick back at the establishment 😊
Wow, I didn't realise dolphins were that dangerous! 😳

Drunk in charge needs an additional element which is the likelihood of driving.
If you are hooked up to electricity or water, and you are making your bed up, then that element is clearly missing….
Not forgetting that the licensee knows you are staying there- that’s pre-arranged so just further proof that there is no likelihood of driving.
