great weekend thanks ramon nice to meet new people and some old faces again

What a brilliant and relaxing weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute from our day out on the train to Hythe, and our visit there sampling the delights of the beer and food, to travelling to Dungerness and back to base. The afternoon get togethers and the evening ones were also so enjoyable. The visit to the engine sheds were most interesting and informative. We would not have missed this meet for anything. It was so nice to meet friends old and new.

Thanks to Ramon for arranging this meet and for his great assistance during the event.

We look forward to the next one.

I really hope there is one next year (Subtle hint, Ramon ) - really disappointed to miss this one. Even worse, the Air Show was cancelled at the last minute so everyone spent a lot of time and money getting to Abingdon for no purpose*. Saw the sone and kids at Didcot railway instead (bigger locomotives actually steaming that day)

Edit - including a couple of tonnes of phantom cockpit section on a big trailer. We lost a packet.......
