Just cleaned the roof using Jennychem caravan cleaner, I have to say I am impressed with the results and it was easier then with previous cleaners.

Ashy. Could you provide a bit more detail on what Jennychem you used, please.

PS. Brilliant job.

Looks like they only do UK shipping and I can't find it on Amazon, although some of their other products are on there šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

As a Welshman, "Free England delivery" would put me off using them. Normally delivery rates are the same for most of the UK with the exception of the HIghlands and Islands.

Now spray it with Wet'n'Forget - you'll be surprised at how clean it stays.

Looks good now but when did you last clean it?
I clean mine 2 or 3 times a year it never gets anything like that bad.
Two to three times a year also. Normally use a car shampoo, this stuff was much easier. Not sure why it gets so bad as donā€™t park near trees at home. Must be the Skeggy air as the neighbour caravan is equally as bad.

I find the muck that gathers on the roof comes off pretty easy. Never needed any fancy product to make it look good.

Cracking job, I use Jennychem products and they are very good to be fair.
Iā€˜ve not tried the caravan cleaner but Iā€™ll put a gallon in my basket on the next order.

Ha ! Ha ! Wow that was really dirty, how long since you did it properly before that???
I also use Jennychem, you can buy large quantities of adblue at bulk discounts, great company.
Just a matter of interest, is it a green colour??? As my G101 is what I use, just spray it on and leave 10 minutes, see it breakup all the mildew etc, especially around your roof furniture, as you have a lot to clean around šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

I've still got a supply of Fenwicks caravan cleaner. Is this noticeably better?
I would use what you have first. All I can say is itā€™s much better than car shampoo.

My drive has 2 huge trees at the side of it on council land, I suffer from tree sap, which is a nightmare to remove. Iā€™ve been using Traffic Film Remover at 50% mixture instead of the recommended 10%, but Iā€™ll give this stuff a try next time. Got to get round to building the rather large car port sometime.

I clean the roof two to three times a year, I think itā€™s the Skeggy air. Itā€™s red in colour.

Nooooo after all that effort I would ceramic coat it, only takes around 30 mins to apply, you only need rewash roof every 6 months then as rainfall will keep it genera clean, and just runs off every time. It's when the rain sits on the roof that causes what you had there !
There's plenty of thread's of Info on coating . . .

Could it be made worse by smoke from nearby chimneys?
