I can put you both down as possible then let me know when you can please. There needs to be enough for it to be viable for them but payment is direct to them on Friday evening so I'm just collating the list.

Martins Restaurant at Highlands End will extend their normal hours so we can have a group Carvery meal on Sunday at 5pm :hi5: - we couldn't get a discount for us all but they assure us it will be a good meal at £11.95 for a standard plate, £15 for a large one & £7.25 for childrens plate. Please post on here if you want to book & if we get enough interest then it will go ahead with us all paying for the meal in advance on the Friday night in the bar & being issued with a ticket to hand to the chef on the Sunday.
Update - there will be fresh fish of the day & a vegetarian dish option with vegetables, potatoes & sides at the same price.

Sunday 5pm Carvery Meal:
Wombles - Alan & Karen
Two on Tour - Paul & Yvette
DuxDeluxe - David & Alison
retiringjoyce - Brenda & Colin
Neckender - John & Pat
Ginster - Ginnie (fish)
TheTwoOfUs - Neil & Merilyn
Box Boy - Brian & Lorna
Ejaydee - Eddy & Clare
Koppersbeat - Helen
meanders - Robin & Hilary
Viennese - Catherine & Jan
targetpaster - Bob & Jan
bigalw35 - Alan & Marg
Cliffyboy - Cliff & Heather

Sorry, Karen, but we'd like to cross our names off the carvery, please.

Karen I have food allergies, can I have a contact number or email so I can find out if they can deal with the allergies, before we book.

*********** UPDATE **************
Please continue posting but there may be delays in us updating the list for the Sunday Carvery Meal at Martins Restaurant or replying as we have Stratford River Festival Rally shortly. We will be on our phones there so will reply to anything urgent on the forum & catch up when we can.

Just realised that it will be easier to pay for the Sunday 5pm Carvery on Thursday night when we gather in the bar/beer garden as many of us will already be at the Festival or going down there on Friday night so have asked that they make that possible too.

Sorry Wombles but we’ve only just got back from Germany and checked the posts, the wife is now in bed and asleep, I’ll check with her tomorrow about the Sunday lunch and then let you know

Hi Wombles, if you could add our names to the list please, many thanks ?, AL

Please send us details to book
Thanks John
The campsite is fully booked but may be worth contacting them in case they have or get any cancellations - will PM (click on Mail box in top right of the web page) you with the details just in case. If not then you might be still able to book the Festival camping down in Bridport - details on first post here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...hlands-end-bridport-dorset-11-15-july.180950/ & you will be welcome to meet up with us all at the bar/ restaurant & at the Festival.

Hi Karen could you please put our names down for the standard carvery on Sunday night ! That's Cliff and Heather . Thanks very much .

Hi there. Currently making our way towards this meet. Just wondering if there’s a motorhome service point at highlands end? We have no aqua roll with us so will need to hose fill the van with fresh water after 5 days of travelling there via THS with no facilities. Cannot find anything on the Highlands End website.
Thanks
John and Catherine

Hi John and Catherine

If you have a look on the site map there is a service point near the shower block to the left of the site near pitch no 1 North Rye hope that helps. There are lots of taps dotted around although there were no hoses attached when we were there last year. https://wdlh.co.uk/holiday-parks/highlands-end/park-map/

Back home now briefly to clean up, restock & cut the grass after Stratford River Festival Rally & looking forward to seeing everyone later this week! :hi5:
There's a thread with things for sale here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...-stratford-bridport-or-lymington-2019.198714/ (will try & add some more later if we have time) & we have a few bits & pieces left ( Seitz Lock M Out, HEOSwater, Solwise Booster, internal & external silver screens) so if anyone wants us to bring any of these then please let us know. Although we can't have an open Sale at Highlands End it's worth posting anything that you have for sale on there or here as someone going along might want it & it's a good way to meet fellow Funsters :)

In our caravanning days we parked at Eype, walked along the beach to West Bay and then back over the top by the camp site - for the last 25+ years I've been meaning to get down there and stay on site :D2
