Had a brilliant time. Lovely location and great company. Thank you, Alan and Karen:smiley:

Thanks again to Karen and Alan for organising another brilliant weekend. This week was just what Merilyn needed after a very trying time. Have to agree with Simon dabhand regarding Arcadia Roots on the small side stage. They should have been headlining on the main stage. Would definitely like to go back again. (y)

Bloody good weekend. Thanks to the Wombles.

Had a great time,,especially in the bar! A real craic and some really funny stuff.

Thanks to everyone we met who made it such a success for us. That goes to all the Stratford ralliers too.

Yes, also a big thank you from me - had a dreadful journey down to Bridport (and also a very slow one back home too) and didn't go to the music festival, but loved the area, the site and the company. Well done you two (again!). And thanks for sorting the weather!
Catherine

As others have already said, many, many thanks Karen and Alan for arranging this meet, it was our first.

What was really lovely was to be able to put faces to names that we have seen on the website and have a chat. We had a fantastic weekend, the literal “highlight” being the climb to the top of Thorncombe Beacon on Sunday morning with the breathtaking views across Lyme Bay. The “low” point was our score at the pitch and putt range with meanders on Sunday afternoon, but what a laugh we had, and no balls lost!

The scrabble around for “hunt the cat” was perhaps the most worrying, that was until the furry feline decided to trot back to his van when he was good and ready and all the humans were suitably covered in sweat and rabbit poo from lying on the ground. ?

Highlands End will be on our list of sites to it again.

enjoyed our own little ukefest too, sorry if others didn’t and we kept you up to the ungodly hour of 10pm ;) See you in a field somewhere and goodbye to those I missed(y)

Had dodgy fish and chip for lunch in West Bay on Sunday so after a good session of chucking up I was in bed and dead to the world by 9pm so you could have could have play into the small hours and I would have been blissfully unaware. :oops2: Apologies for being a miserable git, I've been practising and I'm getting pretty good at it now. :*

Sarah and I would like to add our thanks to Wombles (Karen & Alan) for organising a great weekend. It was great to meet up with some old and new Funsters :)
We are staying on for a few more days and the sun is still shining :sun:

Many thanks again to everyone for joining us :hi5:, a few more that weren't on the list plus welcome to those that joined Fun after seeing us all on the campsite! Hope we didn't miss anyone & that you all felt welcome.
All your kind words & feedback are much appreciated - think the glorious weather & fab views helped a lot :sun:
We hope to do this again in 2020 - provisional dates are 9th-13th July as this will coincide with the Jurassic Fields Festival again for those that like to go along to that too but it's not compulsory as plenty to see & do in that area! Will advise when booking is open & hope that some of those who left it too late this year to join us can book early to ensure a pitch next time.

Great news! Highlands End are happy to have our Meet there again next year :dance2: :dance2: Just finalising the terms for booking (one dog free & arrival time!) & will post a new thread once sorted & alert all those who have been previously.

We had a great time, many thanks Karen & Alan for a wonderful rally/meet, we would like to go again next year. We met some really nice people there. Hopefully a minor problem (?) but I’m waiting for my new (2nd) C1 licence to land on the door mat

We would love to come but our grandson’s Birthday Is on the 11th of July, we have missed it for two years and will be in serious bad books if we don’t attend his birthday bash next year. It was the most superb rally in the loveliest of places, with good organisation and good friends.

Thank you for your kind words & glad that you liked it - hope to see you another time :)

Great rally our first other than Warner shows. Such fun met great people. Some I would already consider new life long friends. Sitting at Northfolk Warner show in funster campsite living the life. Blue skies to all. Jim and Mairi.

I would be interested if we could be pitched together - it was a great shame we were so scattered. Some folk I wished to see/ meet I never discovered
!
