June 2021 International Campervan & Adventure Overland Combined Shows * Full price camping/Show tickets available but day tickets sold out *

It’s absolutely amazing. We are so lucky that Karen and Alan Wombles have arranged this offer for us.

We’ve been here since Tuesday so have benefitted from even more fun of course.

Not quite so happy about that damn Jimbohorlicks who tried to sell our van this morning with us in it!

The prospective purchasers were prepared to pay cash, but the sleeping tenants inside put them off, but it was 10 am.:imoutahere:
Even more sales turned away. Carolyn's van could have been sold several times over. Tours were allowed and deposits taken.

There is absolutely no flagpole one-upmanship happening here, not at all....
It's been lovely weather and great company, I reckon firepit out tonight.

Thanks to Wombles ,Karen and Alan for a great weekend.at the Overland show the spot we were parked in was close to all facilities and the show. It was a very disorganized show( outside of Wombles control ) with more participants arriving than the show organisers had allocated space for and as a result the funsters were split into 2 areas. .Show marshalling was pretty lax and a poor layout as there were many spaces between stalls not taken up which could have been if the show people had been on the ball.Itvwas very busy with Overland vehicles but only a couple of main sellers displaying vehicles. Lots of stalls selling Overland goodies and some interesting vehicle to look at.. bit of a fairground with kids rides and enormous bouncy castles, slides which were really not that busy .Lots of painted up and arty lorry tractor units ,with blaring horns ,exhausts and lights till late.,
the September show is supposed to be even bigger so hopefully will be better organised, by the show owners , if not it will be chaotic.

Our first time out at a rally meet, its been a truly wonderful experience. cant wait to do it again. We finished our weekend, with our first (camping) firepit and had the wonderful company of Karen and Allen for a while. Cheers to all.

Home from a great 6 nights at the Overland/Adventure show. We’d never be brave enough to do those sorts of trips but we can live vicariously through others!
Lots of lovely walks and finally got the bikes off the bike rack, mind you we could have done with one of you handy folk this morning as the Atera Strada DL3 got jammed, we have a love hate relationship with it at the best of times!

We were lucky to be so close to the water and chemical waste as well as all the show stuff. Some of the campers had really long walks.

A very different experience to the Warners , Appletree type shows of course but we expected that. The show wasn’t really aimed at us more conventional motorhomers. It was aimed at more “free spirited“ types.

Looking forward to going again in September.

Thank you very much to Karen and Alan Wombles for another bargain camping deal and a very entertaining experience.

posting on another forum concerning tics found on their dogs after being at the show ! so if you have been there with a dog ?

Hi Wombles Hope your enjoying your stay.

I googled appletree exhibitions Stratford and their web site came up with caravan and Motorhome show july 19th July until 26th July 2021 at Stratford upon Avon

is it a mistake on their web site?

There are two separate camping options at Stratford Racecourse - Appletree Motorhome Show in July as on my last post & Adventure Overland & International Camping Show in September. It has been a bit confusing this year with so many Fun meets & rallies but great to have so much choice!

Thx Wombles I must try and keep up. If the weather improves will go to the Motorhome show Stratford later this month
