Hi, I would just like to thank the organisers and marshall's for what has got to be one of the best rallies we have been to. It was nice to see some old friends and meet new ones. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic! Hopefully see you all soon!

What a FAB U LOUS rally. Well done to everyone who had anything to do with arranging the rally and the band for a fantastic Saturday night's music. Good site, plenty of shops, the marina, the maritime museum, bus stops outside and a pub almost on site. Well done Mike, can we do it all again next year. Cherry & Rex

We really enjoyed the rally, thanks to all who organised it / helped over the weekend. The food discounts were a big bonus, but we thought the Jackson Landing was so good that it was pointless going anywhere else. The staff were great and the beer prices really reasonable !!

Yes, a very good meet, thanks Mike and everyone else involved. Lots of friendly people, and lovely staff in the pub, so very helpful. Please tell our waiter that I'm sorry he didn't get a dance, but I will look for him next time!

I have finally managed to do the accounting for the Monkey Hangers Rally.
Attached is a pdf file showing how the rally generated a surplus of £197.98 which I have rounded up to £200 and made a donation to the Hartlepool & District Hospice (a pdf of the donation receipt is attached).
On the Saturday night in the pub we collected money for the RNLI which is a popular local charity as Hartlepool has its own lifeboat based just outside the Marina.
Thanks are due to @Busman who took the bucket around the pub and also to the helpers who counted all the money.
We collected just over £155 which I have rounded up to £160 and a pdf of the receipt for the donation is also attached.
I think everybody had a good time, I know I enjoyed it immensely and it was worth the effort involved in the organisation.
BIG THANKS are due to Martin (@martin1485) and Andy (@Techno100) who worked hard as Rally Marshals and without whose help I definitely would not have been able to cope.
If the space is still available next year I will try to organise another Monkey Hangers Rally.
