It should be reliable, as long as it's got no German made parts. (2 Viewers)

Seems target is under €100k (but suspect tariffs will substantially increase the end user cost in Europe/US/Canada) .

I wonder who will be / when we'll see the first Deddle dealer in UK?

It looks impressive ! I would be more than a little concerned with the toilet though with so many buttons and switches if you pressed the wrong one you could end up in hospital

Will be interesting to see how it's priced against the European competition and what view the insurance companies will have with it being carbon fibre?

Seems to be using a lot of Panasonic electronics for fridge, WC, etc. and it's based on an Iveco so presumably would have Europe wide warranty.

Didn't see any mention of battery or water tank capacities? Edit - it's on the spec sheet at the end along with manufacturer's of add ons such as Thetford, Alde and Fiamma.

I noticed they had a mirror angled to view the roof although it wasn't clearly shown in the video.

They have a web site, https://en.deddlerv.com/model/27#d6 I can't find a price but there are other details,

solar 1800 watts
batteries 400ah @ 48v (so that 1600ah @12v)
MPPT says 60A so presumably thats at 48v as well to handle 1800 watts

Despite the carbon fibre construction they list a kerb weight of 6870kg and total weight of 7000kg

As I pointed out to my wife, the window in the shower is just the right hight for her to flash her "assets" to the neighbours if she forgets to put the blind down 😳🤭

I will wait and see what The Temu Price is, then buy it, have it delivered, then report that it was damaged on receipt, and get a full refund, and then told to keep it.;):giggle::cool:

That sounds about right given the spec, if that's the case I'll pass....

We should assume this represents the beginnings of Chinese camper van / motorhome exports. As with everything else, over time, they will do very well at the expense of local manufacturers!!

I think at that price for a coach built they might struggle to get a toe in the market, OK the spec solar, lithium etc is good but you can do that on Morelo, Concorde, Phoenix etc by chucking a bit of cash at it, the carbon fibre looks good but weight wise in the grand scheme of things I doubt it makes a lot of difference and it will make repairs more difficult in that they have lacquered over the carbon with a tint so a side repair will always be visible.

Let's hope it's better made than when they entered the motorcycle market. Crap finish even though they were using direct copies of Yam and Suzuki engines. Took a few years to up the quality.... And resale value.

2016 we went on a factory tour at autotrail, on the tour was 2 Chinese engineers, they made notes of all the sealants and glue specs and anything else used in manufacturing. The tour guide was concerned about the amount of information they collected.
