Someone posted about https://www.roamaround.io/ which seems amazing.
I looked at local places and it had some great suggestions but when you got very local, some of the plans were very bizarre and inaccurate...

So I suppose it depends on the database - but, nevertheless it gives you a starting point to research destinations

One thing it will never be able to do or replace is the knowledge gained by a Funster's own practical experiences that's held in a Funster's brain and being passed on in the forum for the first time, it can only ever repeat it once it has been put to words.

In regards to the Motorhomefun forum, is ChatGPT and its ilk really intuitive or only really a knowledge base?

Lots of the required Intuition & knowledge is here on MHF
Another part of the Artificial Intelligence is machine learning.

Machine learningis a subset of AI that falls within the “limited memory” category in which the AI (machine) is able to learn and develop over time.

As Jim added the AI bot to this site it’s not impossible that with tweaks that it’ll have access to years of posts to correlate into opinions it can give.
How it filters out mistakes and out of date info I don’t know but there’ll be models available in the AI/ML space.

One of the limitations of ChatGPT right now is that its relying on data up to 2021 so it doesn't know anything about things that have happened/changed since then.
