Is this even legal ?

And bare feet or flip flops for the driver I believe
yes they like them to have a restraint around the heel. Another they can pull you up on smmer time is arm hanging out of the window. Driving with no shirt on also.

No , dialect is wrong.
More likely south to West Yorkshire judging by the children’s accents.
Not Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire , or should I say not one I recognise having lived and worked in the areas for the past 60 years.
Only my opinion though, ta me duck!
A good mate of mine lives ( has lived all his life in Derby.. When I heard the bloke talk I did a double take co I thought it was him !!

Reckless or what!

I couldn't watch the vlog right the way through, there was so much wrong with it. OK, I suppose we've all done things we wouldn't do now, but this is pretty extreme.

No I think he's right, it's Yorkshire sounding to me, had another listen 👂🤔

This guy is am absolute moron. That van is built for 2 travelling ONLY. Why would you put your kids life at risk ? But in all honesty listening to him makes me think his lift doesn't quite reach the top floor

From another post here: is it illegal for the front seat passenger to have their feet up on the dash? My wife does it often.

Illegal or not, if the passenger airbag goes off, your knees go through your face. Many broken bones at least.

Not sure it's illegal (do we need laws for everything) but you are right with the potential outcome. It's a very very stupid thing to do.
Either drop the seat down if it's too high and it's possible. Or put something under the passengers feet to make the sitting position more normal and comfortable. Janie

Thanks Jim. Very imformative. And my feet will stay in the footwell in future.
Tbh I used to put my feet up, too, until I saw the dangers posted on here. My feet also stay in the footwell now!

suppose a moony is out of the question then

We own the same type of MH but without the bump. The side seats do have seat belts.
But we are only two and the layout is superb. For a start you can walk around, it has a full cooker and is very comfortable. Drives well once you get used to the long wheelbase.

Sad about the family. At least the wife seems embarrassed hiding her face.
And as a Yorkshireman I can tell you they do not come from any of the three Ridings.
