Inconsiderate neighbour !

worst neighbour on a rally was a guy who went mackerel fishing at first light and proceeded to gut and clean the fish at the fresh water tap. That wasn't the worst part, a flock of seagulls started fighting over the guts very noisily and then flew off with their winnings to sit on caravan roofs eating them. Followed by leaving an awful bloody mess on awnings

That chap was VERY unpopular
Please, please, PLEASE tell me that wasn't old-mo  If it was don't answer ...

Think you are more in a goldfish bowl on an Aire really.I use both.BUSBY.
Difference is on an aire you can move spots or move on if you're not happy, on a campsite its not so easy especially as there tends to be a lot of people who like to ogle at the antics of the other pitch occupants ... especially awning erections.:giggle:

You see there is not the same entertainment on an Aire,no one erects an awning.😁😁 BUSBY.

Don't you believe it ... you can't beat watching a good old 'debate' between the Dutch and the French when the former has all their gear out next to their MH blocking the last spot and the latter want it!

I’m hoping that ‘awning erections’ isn’t a typo……. o_O o_O o_O ;)

In the words of the late great Dick Emery ...

"Oooo you are awful, but I like you!"

... and people wonder why I don't do sites!
I was just about to say that.

Sounds delightful...between all that noise and all the busy bodies complaining about the noise wild horses couldn't drag me on one 🤣🤣

not legal here .8am earliest you can make a noise. 2pm till 4/5pm you are also on dodgy ground if a complaint is made as it is siesta

Wouldn't it be better to get an inline water heater so it is ready to go? Someone is bound to complain eventually & you won't have a leg to stand on..
Aye but they can make as much noise as they like from 6pm to 6am which is even worse...bloody Spanish are the nosiest buggers oot

Jet washed drive yesterday and patios today
started at 8.30 took 9 hours yesterday for drive but only 4 today for patios ,
i think 8.30 is a reasonable time
and i never ever moan about any others having drinks and getting a bit loud at night,
we all have different body clocks eh?
i have to start van at 5am on a sunday morning to go to carboot too
i do apologise to neighbour but hes easy going lol
cos he has a drink at night
Used to spend even longer doing all ours until I discovered the below.
Can’t praise this stuff enough. Put on AFTER getting clean, as you just have, and do every six months and don’t put on in excessive heat or when rain expected ( follow instructions ). I have not used a jet washer on mine for over five years. Buy four x five litres as it works out cheaper and dilute four water to one liquid and definitely spray on as goes further. I was given a sprayer which goes on my back so makes it easier.
Hope this helps.
Ray

One of my high performance cars has to be up to temperature (40c) before the darn thing will move. If I have an early morning start 4-5 am I cringe as it makes such a noise just idling (1,200 rpm) and can take 5 mins or more on a cool morning neighbours are brilliant they have never complained but I do feel for them and if anyone does moan I will buy them a bottle of wine and offer to take them for a blat.

whilst the exhaust is loud at around 95db the intake is louder around 120db on full throttle. (Too loud for most tracks).
What sort of car is that then?

Just to add to this Lidl across the road from us had the garden contractors in today. They started with a leaf blower thing at seven this morning. Not that early I suppose but it made it worse because I woke at five not feeling at my best.
They were finished by half eight so at least it was quiet during breakfast.

So I am wondering two things ;)

1. what you got?
2. is it actually road legal if it's too loud for a track?

As Northernraider says a noisy one, it spits flames, pops and bangs on overrun, when blatting it will pop between gear changes. It does 22 mpg when driving normally drops to 18 mpg when 'fast road' and race speed it drops again to about 8mpg. Happy days......but these types of vehicles will get legislated off the road eventually which is sad but right if we want to save the planet. Even Lotus are saying the Emira will be the last ICE car they will produce. Then it will be the EV era which in someways removes the soul of cars such as these (in my opinion and could be wrong as I have yet to drive one)

If you haven't seen it have a peek at the Channel 4 program Lotus: A new Dawn and if you want a view of the Lotus Hypercar the Evija here it is

1. id rather not say on that one but it is loud you have to have earplugs when you drive it as it would affect your hearing and an intercom to communicate with the passenger
2. Yes it is 100% road legal but it would be so easy to loose my licence, you an only drive t for about 3 hours before feeling knackered it does not have a harsh ride but it is physically demanding as it is ore track orientated

When I was working I would be up between 5 and 6 ....... started work at 8 but either did some housework before leaving or had an hour in the pool before work (the public pool we are not posh or rich enough to have our own). For about 5 years after no longer working for someone else I would still get up at around 7 but these days I tend to switch off the 8am alarm, get up and let the hens out, use the bathroom then back to bed and read until I've finished the book :)

Strangely enough I am usually awake much earlier when in the van and have to get up to have a drink as there is nowhere safe from accidental spills for my first drink of the day.

Your not wrong there!!
They always seem to be strimming, hedge trimming, mowing the grass chopping wood I could go on!
It is a pain in the arse feels like you've arrived on a building site
Nature can be difficult as things tend to grow and need attention sometimes.

More Social Media rubbish

Those cars were stored there because a company went bust. The cars were all bought, along with their good batteries by other companies. Just some little saddo with an agenda writes his own story to a picture for his gullible SM followers to swallow it whole.

Actually that article doesn't say they were all bought ..only 2500 have been bought .many are clearly damaged as can be seen in the photos . The verdict states its partly true not completely false🤷🏻‍♂️ .
