I'm literally crying, so sad to see this

Blimey! Thank gawd for insurance. Hope you get back on the road soon.

Totally shocked to read this, so sorry for you both. Glad that the gas didn’t explode and cause more damage.

That's awful news 😢

OMG! Gutted for you. Hope its sorted and your back behind the wheel soon.

Terrible. Motorhomers worst nightmare. Know its small consolation, but thank god you weren't in it when this happened.
Hope you get it sorted.

Fortunately you are all safe but as is often said you are about to find out how good your insurance company are . Having read an earlier thread of yours I hope it wasn't the coffee machine that ignited as the fire looks to have started in the kitchen area . I also noticed that the lights on your motorhome are on had you literally just parked it ?

Devastating - am so sorry for you, I hope the insurance sorts it promptly.

JHC that's scary. What Maurice said - ditto.

Crikey so sorry to see that, very distressing for you. Hope the insurers are good about it.

Really feeling for you both and glad you are okay physically even if emotionally you must be so shaken up.

That’s not something you want to happen but after owning it for four days it’s devastating. We really feel for you and hope you are ok as best you can be.
After all the travel restrictions we have been through that’s so unfair.

Bloody hell, that’s so sad, 😞😞
I really feel for you both, previously dealing with the flair, now this, so sorry, I hope you find the cause and share it with us so we can check it won’t happen to us, especially if it’s a manufacturing fault.
Glad you’re still here to report it to us.

Really can’t put into words how you must be feeling, as others have said at least your both safe. Have followed your thread after your purchase as we too have renewed ours seven days ago so to have that happen is gut wrenching.

Incredible, thank god you weren’t both in there. Hope you get things sorted out. Don’t worry unduly about the skiing, you can always jump on a plane. Main thing is you’re both ‘sain et sauf’

So sorry for you . . . and glad that no one was hurt.

I also noticed that the lights on your motorhome are on had you literally just parked it ?
The lights being on is probably due to the fire burning off some of the cable's insulation, letting bare wires touch, acting like a rudimentary switch ?
Sorry to hear this Haggers as I was just showing Val the pic of your new van last week.

That is awful, so sorry this has happened to you.
