Yes please lol....
Still can't believe you can have a garden like that without spending all your time in it...

I'm not a Gardner but I do mum and dads each time I visit...
Mow the lawn cut the hedge weed the flower beds etc... then I get a bollocking for doing something wrong...
I did scalp the lawn once with the mower set too low.... never been allowed to forget it..
Andy
Scalped the lawn thinking you would get the sack but it didn't work, Mum and Dad saw through that one straight away:LOL:

Here's Buster sliding on the cool grass to ease his sunburned belly today at Thornwick Bay @ Flamborough . Any cool spot he'd slide along like a slug be it beach grass or gravel . Still smiling though .

I worry though:eek:, the wind took the roof off one year and we were almost a pile of rubble during storm Desmond. Everywhere has advantages and pitfalls.
It does get a bit hairy here sometimes but we have been lucky so far

Come on Joy you put some pictures on a few weeks back and your's looked lovely.

Her what looked luvely, I didn't see dem piccies? :Eeek:

Had 3/4 acre in France with huge fig trees, peaches, cherry plums. So glad I sold when I did, Ride on mower coped with all the lawn.
Now I could live with just my deck with pots and the water feature I made. Dogs have a lower garden that's really rough grass, hidden from the house so I just pick up any poo and throw the mower over it when I can.
Love to see beautiful gardens but I'm no gardener, could kill ivy. Rainy day in Devon, re-did the deck a few weeks ago, yet to tackle the fence. Looks pretty in the evening with all the lights on.

@Robert Clark was the garden developed when you bought it or have you done it, which ever way a lot of work but beautiful, you could get lost in a garden like that, nothing I like better than been set free with a set of secateurs and some roses that need dead heading.

Where is the lemon tree?
Lovely garden areas you must have a man that 'does 'to help as you are away so much!!!

When we moved in (2004) the house and garden were in a pretty sorry state.

The garden was re designed and landscaped a few years ago.

I'm glad you like it - thank you

The Lemon trees live on the patio during the summer.

@Robert Clark we are selling ours as later in life keeping up with maintenance of a large garden is too time consuming and stops us from travelling. Your lovely home must also be very time consuming.

Not at all

Our gardening 'lady' comes in two mornings a week during the summer. The lawns are also cut once a week.

Our son moves in when we're away and looks after the chickens and FANG.
The grandchildren love it - they say it's like having a little holiday.
